Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Coyle Hospitality Group regarding complaint ID [redacted].Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: I was offered an opportunity to evaluate a restaurant for a fee of $40. and full reimbursement of restaurant charges up to $200. for a total of $240.00.

I complied with going to the restaurant and having dinner and submitting an evaluation at their request. They followed up several times for revisions which I made to the best of my ability and remitted to them. This was a rush job due on August [redacted] according to Coyle.

Today, August **, 2015, I learned that they did not submit my evaluation. They stated it was not done in accordance with their specifications. They are not willing to reimburse me for my expenses nor pay me the fee they promised to pay.

I am a senior citizen living on a limited income and I am now out $235.00.

They okayed my going on this evaluation knowing I had not done one in a long time. It was only after I submitted my report, they questioned it while they were more than willing for me to dine at the restaurant which would not have been one on my choosing due to the expense.

I only found out today because I was supposed to do another two evaluations for them and I wanted to know the status of my previous expense. I wrote to them. They did not tell me anything.

This company is a Hospitality, Restaurant Evaluation and they make everything sound very inviting when they get you to go but afterwards are not willing to pay you.Desired Settlement: I want the payment of $235.00 for dinner and the $40.00 for my time, aggravation and gas expense.

Review: I work as an independent evaluator and was offered a shop by Coyle Hospitality Group. I accepted the offer and in good faith began working on the assignment although all the details of the assignment were not made available.

The assignment was to perform a three night stay at Kalahari Waterpark Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin reviewing the hotel, personnel, and services offered by the hotel.

[redacted] of Coyle advised me to proceed with booking the stay without having all the details of the shop and knowing that the hotel required the first night paid in full at time of booking and allowed no refunds for cancellations occurring within 72 hours or less, which meant that I would be out $300 if the assignment fell through prior to my completing the shop. [redacted] said in an e-mail that they could get the charges reversed if need be.

In good faith I booked the hotel and secured the room with my personal credit card as is customary with evaluations. It is not standard protocol to be ask to begin any part of an assignment without all of the details and reimbursements of the assignment clearly spelled out. [redacted] said that because this assignment needed to be completed right away that she would get me the details once she received them from Kalahari Waterpark Resort.

I did not receive any instructions until the day of the assignment, and due to waiting to find out IF the assignment was to be completed or cancelled I had to prepare for the assignment which included packing for a family of six, finding a place to kennel the dog, and make certain the assignment was to be completed. So once I received confirmation that everything was approved, I ensured I received instructions and began preparing for the road trip.

Upon arrival to Kalahari Waterpark Resort I began the assignment only to realize that there were numerous mini assignments included with little direction and no dollar amount detailing reimbursements.

I contacted Coyle support and [redacted] to clarify the details and reimbursements of the assignment. By the time I got any response I had already completed some of the assignment, as well as estimated the amount of money I would need to spend up front in order to complete the assignment.

I notified Coyle support and [redacted] that the expenses were so excessive I was not prepared to spend that amount of money but was able to complete everything but two of the mini assignments that totaled just over $300.00. Coyle support did not respond until forty-eight hours later. [redacted] did respond within twenty-four hours stating that unless the entire shop was completed Kalahari Waterpark Resort would not reimburse any part of the assignment, nor would Coyle.

I spent $1357.89 on this assignment prior to receiving any indication that the assignment would not be reimbursed.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that Coyle Hospitality Group refund $1357.89, the amount I have spent due to their negligence to fully disclose all aspects of the assignment including an approximate amount that would be reimbursed upon completion.
