Coyne Search Service, Inc.

I was referred to this company by an Abstractor that I hired for a previous abstracting job. I got into contact with the gentlemen and assigned him an order to complete for me. He told me the estimated completion time on this order, would be the next day. Well, that was last week. I called him the day the order was due and asked for a status update. He informed me that the search was a little more complex, and that he would have it to me, if not Monday afternoon, then Tuesday for sure. Well, here it is Tuesday, and I still had not received the order I sent to him. They stopped answering my emails as well as my calls. It was not until I contacted the previous Abstractor that referred them to me and asked if he happen to know any other Abstractors that covered that county, as Coyne's gave me a faulty ETA, and now I could not get a hold of them, that Coyne's responded to one of my emails stating that again, the search was more complex and it would be done Thursday. Now, any Abstracting company knows that their clients do NOT like being told time after time again that the order they sent to you will take longer and longer every time they contact you for a status update. I responded back to Coyne's and stated that Thursday was unacceptable as they had changed the ETA several times on me, and my client is close to cancelling the order and I needed this order today. I also reminded them that they informed me that the ETA was 24 hours when I had originally assigned it to them. They responded with "We are cancelling this request." What kind of company does that? That is highly unethical! They held on to my order for almost a week, giving me the runaround on the status, and when it would be completed. And when it came down to the most recent ETA day they provided me with, they tell me that they are cancelling my request.
I would not recommend using this company AT ALL to any other Abstracting companies. I will certainly never attempt to use them again.
