Mr [redacted] droped off the first vehicle to Highway Body shop on 9-17-,he requested us to repair and replace the left quarter and the rear body panel and put on our frame machine to pull the vehicleThis vehicle was bought at a salvage sale it was a total car we repaired for himBe for he left his vehicle car #we agreed on on a price ,we started working on the car he then started bring more parts in to be put on this vehicle.he did supply the parts ,but all we agreed on doing was the left quarter and rear body and pulling the frame. We did take longer to fix the car than expected, also when we finished the all the body work he then asked [redacted] (owner) about painting the area we repaired ,they agreed on a price to paint the car where its was repaired We have the agreement that Mr [redacted] authorize and agreed to the price and to the labor cost from Highway Body Shop witch Mr [redacted] has copy's of as well. The reason it took longer to repair car #he brought us more cars to repair and ask us to stop working on car #and work on the others cars please keep in mind that all of these cars are salvage vehicle or totaled vehicle bought from a salvage sale.Car#he is talking about not finishing was a rear floor pan which we never agreed to fix again we have the agreement that has a detail on the repair order that was agreed upon and signed and dated by Mr [redacted] .As for the front bumper on this car,he is right we did crack it backing the car into the paint booth with our tow truck because the key didn't work.We contacted Mr[redacted] about this and told him we were going to repair the bumper we have photos of be for and after repair .The key with the car never work form day one .But our body tecdid closed the key in the sun roof of the car and we agreed to pay for the replacement .It was about 2-weeks later he brought the new key because to get a key from dealer you have to show proof of ownership ,the reason it took so long for him to get the key for us he was waiting on the title from the DMVSome how he is get a salvage title clean up and the salvage car show as a clean title We finished the car , I wrote a completed invoice starting with the agreed price and we added the extra work he had requested to be done.We have a copy so does he we subtracted the cost of the key and the bumper grill amount charge him the difference which was $more than the original agreement .Again we have photos ,repair orders on all vehicle that we agreed and he authorize to repair.we will be glad to bring ,fax or email. He didn't pay until all car were completed he liked the work on the first cars .Then wanted to negotiate a lower price after the work was completed and authorized [redacted] *** Highway Body ShopFeb 2,

I J*** M*** am responding to the question/comment regarding P*** S*She called me on 9/15/stating that she wanted her vehicle repairedIt was then towed to my shop where I paid the tow billMsS*** signed the Authorization to Repair and a Direction to Pay FormI also made a copy
of her licenseHer insurance company came out to look at and they completed an estimate on her vehicleI never wrote her a estimate, because her insurance did and denied the claim, P***'s insurance company said it was not covered because her daughter was driving it and she was not on the policyAfter Ms.S*** knew her claims were denied she came back to my shop and cleaned her vehicle out and told me that she was going to let it go back to the lien holderThe lien holder called me asked if I had the vehicle, I told them yes, and I told them that the car had charges on it and had to be paid before it could be picked upi told them the charges that was owed as of then plus storage chargesThey then told me that they were going to reposes the car in November but did not because of charges owed to Highway Body ShopSo I am doing a mechanic's lienAccording to the state of South Carolina, and the county of Spartanburg I have to send all documentation to the DMV in ColumbiaThey do a title search then send it back to meAnd I have to send a certified letter to the last known owner and the lien holder and notify both of all charges to current dateIf the owner are the lien holder wants to pick it up they can, but they have to pay the chargesIf not the county of Spartanburg will come to my location where the car is and do a judicial sale and I can get the titleI am attaching the insurance estimate and the authorization to repair form and the direction to payThis way I can sell the car so I can get a little of what is owed to me including the tow billI hope this clears up the complaint against Highway Body Shop

Mr. [redacted] droped off  the first vehicle to Highway 9 Body shop on 9-17-15 ,he requested us to repair and replace the left quarter and the rear body panel and put on our frame machine to pull the vehicle. This vehicle was bought at a salvage sale it was a total car we repaired for...

him. Be for he left his vehicle car #1 we agreed on  on a price ,we started working on the car he then started bring more parts in to be put on this vehicle.he did supply the parts ,but all we agreed on doing was the left quarter and rear body and pulling the frame. We did take longer to fix the car than expected, also when we finished the all the body work he then asked [redacted] (owner) about painting the area we repaired ,they agreed on a price to paint the car where its was repaired .   We have the agreement that Mr. [redacted] authorize and agreed to the price and to the labor cost from Highway 9 Body Shop witch Mr [redacted] has copy's of as well. The reason it took longer to repair car #1 he brought us 2 more cars to repair and ask us to stop working on car #1 and work on the others 2 cars  please keep in mind that all of these cars are salvage vehicle or totaled  vehicle bought from a salvage sale.Car#1 he is talking about not finishing was a rear floor pan which we never agreed to fix again we have the agreement that has a detail on the repair order that was agreed upon and signed and dated  by Mr [redacted] .As for the front bumper on this car,he is right we did crack it backing the car into the paint booth with our tow truck because the key didn't work.We contacted Mr.[redacted]   about this and told him we were going to repair the bumper we have photos of be for and after repair .The key  with the car never work form day one .But our body tec. did closed the key in the sun roof of the car and we agreed to pay for the replacement .It was about 2-3 weeks later he brought the new key because to get a key from dealer you have to show proof of ownership ,the reason it took so long for him to get the key  for us he was waiting on the title from the DMV. Some how he is get a salvage title clean up and the salvage car show as a clean title . We finished the car , I wrote a completed invoice starting with the agreed price and we added the extra work he had requested to be done.We have a copy so does he we subtracted the cost of the key and the bumper grill amount charge him the difference which was $30.00 more than the original agreement .Again we have  photos ,repair orders on all 3 vehicle that we agreed  and he authorize to repair.we will be glad to bring ,fax or email. He didn't pay until all 3 car were completed he liked the work on the first 2 cars .Then wanted to negotiate a lower price after the work was completed and authorized        [redacted] Highway Body ShopFeb 2,2016
