Hello, This is in reference to a letter from the Revdex.com (dated 7/7/17) in reference to
complaint ID ***. I have attached pdf files that show both the $refund that we processed for this guest on 6/and the email correspondence with this guest. Before even knowing that she had filed a complaint with the Revdex.com, I contacted her via email on 6/to begin the resolution process My initial response to her when she called us on 6/was to deny any sort of a refund However, after thinking about it overnight I thought that this was just not the right way to handle things and contacted her via email to see what we could do to compensate her for the lost clothing Again, I had no idea she had contacted the Revdex.com so that was not the compelling reason to do this I simply felt it was the right way to handle things. I sent her the initial email on 6/and she responded that same day with links to websites where I could see how much it would cost to replace the items The total was approximately $so I offered to refund $back to her credit card to cover the items and the inconvenience. She said this was acceptable and as you can see from the receipt attached, I did process that $refund on 6/ We have had some email correspondence since then (also attached) as her bank had not apparently processed the refund in a timely manner My last email to her was dated 7/inquiring if she had actually received the refund to her account It has been days and I have not heard back so my assumption is that she must have received it. I will agree that my initial response of no refund was not the best way to handle it, however I did reach out to her to follow up within hours and did compensate her what she thought was fair Hopefully, this will shed some light on the final resolution and show that we do try to resolve any matters with our guests in a positive manner.
