Ordered Coys mustang wheels from Dave on 4/6/2022 with his commitment that I would receive them by end of May .

After the order was placed he was not responsive and would not provide an invoice. I finally received an invoice after multiple texts and phone calls . He continually has led me along with the “it’s the supplier issue “ and offered a refund if they did not come in . On 6/3 2022 he offered a refund and I could re purchase when they actually arrived . I offered to wait until Monday 6/6 to see if they arrived .
On 6/6 I checked in - No Response
On 6/7 I checked in his - response waiting on answers
On 6/8 - Dave responded wheels landing / Ship tomorrow
On 6/13 I requested shipping confirmation- no response
On 6/13 called no response
On 6/14 called to confirm shipment - no response
On 6/14 text for confirmation or tracking number - no response

He had lied and led me along for over 2 months and had $1400 of my money that he has not refunded or provided the wheels I purchased. He blames his vendor and now has gone dark.

I expect a tracking number or a full refund

I placed my order with David on Oct. 17th 2019 for a complete set of Wheels, Spinners and tires. He charged my credit card $2,000.00 and said it would be 8 to 10 week delivery. I waited 8 weeks before I started contacting him about my order. He said they were still on back order and that I could get a refund. Never received it. Contacted him again March of 2020 about my refund, he offered to send me info on other type of wheels that would work on my project. Never received them. Have continued to try to reach David with no luck. Does not answer my calls, when I message him he says he will call later but never does. I am placing an order for wheels with another vendor. Hope to receive a refund from Coys Wheels.

I did indeed get a request to refund you order and I actually did so with my old merchant I used to use. I just got off the phone with them and was inform that the refund was not processed with them because I no longer am able to refund using the merchant. I will have to issue a refund by check. So I will issue your refund by check and get it sent off usps. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Ordered and paid $700.00 for wheels in March 2019. After a year of multiple excuses of why I had not received the wheels, I asked for a refund of my money in March 2020. Dave Coy has now stopped returning calls and texts and will not send me a refund.

No customer service at all. I paid for wheels & hub caps-he never sent hubcaps- kept the $250.00 that I paid for the hubcaps. He will NOT give refund-only lies and says they're being shipped. Have sent numerous emails, either ignores them or lies about shipments. Absolutely no ethics or morals. I ordered and paid for the wheels and hubcaps immediately by phone early Aug 2019.
I noticed he apparently does this on a regular basis. Look at the complaints.

I ordered a couple of wheels on Sept 13, 2019 and gave my CC info for a total of $600 including shipping. I was given an 8 week delivery as there were delays from their supplier. Sent a follow up email on Sept 17, 2019 that I had not received a confirmation to my order. Calls to them in November of 2019 went without any response. Through Facebook Messenger I was able to reach David on Dec 6, 2019 and requested my order be cancelled and asked for a refund. He apologized and said wheels would not be available until Feb 2020. I was told my order would be cancelled and refund issued. It has been 4 months and no refund still. Voice mail and emails get no response.

we did take a order for two coys c-5 wheels from the customer. We have yet to receive the wheels and will will issue a refund by check ASAP. We thought we would get wheels in but with tariffs and the corona virus in China it has now happened. We are aorry for the inconvenience.

Terrible customer service and outright liar. I purchased a set of wheels in December. Received the wheels with wrong center caps. Was told multiple times they were sent and never received. I highly recommend not doing business with this company. This is what’s wrong with companies today. No morals.

They shipped tire rims with a manufacturer defect in June 2019. They promised to replace and said they had the new rims to ship in Aug 2019. They then said they could not ship until Dec 2019. They do not answer the phone. They do not return voicemail messages. The faxes will not go through. The emails sent are rejected. We have no way to get a hold of them to find out what is going on.

Well if anybody’s misleading it’s you you did not spend $2900 with me if you don’t want to trim rings that’s fine I’ll give you a refund for $250 that I charged you no problem as far as Wheels goes you have those wheels mounted it on your truck already I already talk to the guy at the shop. I understand the trim rings of cooking a lot longer to get in and we ever anticipated and we are sorry for that and we were refund you ASAP

I am rejecting this response because:Ms., My apologies on the price Misunderstanding. I wrote a check to Jason M for $2900 for tires, wheels and rings. I did not realized until I requested receipts from Mr. M that Coys Wheels only provided the Wheels and Rings and not the tires. Therefore, we only paid Coys Wheels $1700. I was not misleading anyone just going on the little information that I had at the time coming from Jason M, who was the contact for this transaction. Again I apologize that I did not correct the price involved. It is $1700.

The rest of the response is ridiculous. If you are proposing that I want a refund of $250 for the rings, that is also ridiculous. I am standing by my decision that I want the Rings for the Wheels. Dave (that is what I will call the company rep, since he does not give a name & Mr. M has spoken to Dave), has spoken with Jason M so he knows that the wheels and tires are on the truck because we have been waiting on the rings to put on them so we can complete the truck. Dave, the mere fact is that I believe that when I pay for something, I am going to get it. I believe in a company's integrity and business to take care of the customer and I am the customer. We have been waiting for Coys' Rings to put on the wheels for the last 8-9 months. The only reason that the company has photos of the wheels and tires on the truck is because I sent them. They are only privy to that information is because I provided it.

Ms., I do not want any more emails from Coys Wheels. That is not why I contacted you to go back and forth with this company. I contacted the Revdex.com to help me get my rings, that I paid for, for the wheels on my truck. I do not want an refund, I want the rings that go on the wheels that are on my truck. Let "Dave" at Coys Wheels know that he can be in contact with Jason M and let him know when you will be shipping the rings for my truck and then I am done with this matter.

Paid $500 on 9/15/2019 by credit card for 2 custom made wheels. Multiple conversations and private messages on Facebook from the company said Cragar was the problem. On Jan 22, 2020 I requested a refund via Facebook Messenger. Response on January 22, 2020 was I have your refund. No response since as to how the refund is being made. My credit card has not been refunded as of 1/31/2020.

I bought the wheels on November 11 2019 was told they would ship in 2 weeks it is now 1/9/2020 and still no wheels. I keep getting excuses and promises but no wheels .I have screen shots of all of my coversations with this company .

I placed an order on Nov 1st for a set of wheels. The gentleman told me they would ship that day. On Nov 11th, I reached out and he told me he had to build them that it would be another week. I told him I could not wait and would like my money back. He said it would take 3 days to get it back. After 3 days I reached out again to hear that it would be 10 days. After 14 days I reached out again and they told me that they changed CC companies and they could not refund the money, they would send a check. I asked for a Pay Pal return and he said he would do that. Over a week goes by and still nothing. When I reach out again, he tells me that he cant do a Pay Pal because he is afraid I will do a charge back on the CC, made me feel like a criminal. It has now been over a month since I placed my order and he is now offering me a check, I feel he will not do that either, so I would like some help fixing this. Nobody from the company reached out to me one time, without me reaching out first. Not once. As of now I have spend 1200 dollars and have no wheels and no money.

I placed an order with Mr.C*** on July 5th for a set of wheels for my 1968 Mustang. I called a couple weeks later to check if they had shipped. He said oh the warehouse dropped the ball. More time whet by no wheels. Several more calls, emails and excuses when he did answer the phone. He began to ignore my calls and even created a fake UPS tracking number to keep me off him. Wheels never shipped by the middle of September I emailed him to cancel my order. He did reply saying order was cancel and refund was made. I have yet to receive my refund of $775.00. I just want my refund ASAP.

On Nov/1/2019. I let this company debit $1,400.00 from my card. This transaction was suppose to be a 30 process.After months of nothing I told the company to deposit the money back on to my debit card.On January/14/2019 I was sent a message with a picture of a refund slip. A slip that was not signed. My bank states that no deposit of any kind was made from this company to either my card or my account. This issue has caused me to have to borrow money and pay my Bill's late. In now asking that you please look in this issue and have them refund my $1,400.00. I have a copy of the invoice and the fake refund slip. Thank you..

On January 14th our company notified the customer that the custom ordered wheels he had purchased where not finished and where unable to obtain. We processed a refund to the customer that same day. After sometime the customer called back and notified us that the refund had never appeared back onto his statement. We told the customer we would call our merchant immediately to find out what needed to happed. We also at that time provided him with a picture of the processed refund slip from January 14th. Once we spoke to the merchant they directed us to issue another refund, which we did same day. We also provided the customer with the transaction slip once again. The money was withdraw from our account of 2/14/2019 and returned to the customer. We understand that there was a delay, we understand the customer was upset about the delay, but the issue was a merchant issue. We issued the refund on 1/14/2019 and then again on 2/14/2019 after doing due diligence upon knowing the refund was not showing up in the customers account. We are sorry for the delay and the merchant issue but we strove to fix the issue as quickly as possible. The customer has received a full refund.

The business has not delivered the merchandise that I used the credit card for. I had ordered a set of four Coy C-67 wheels on 1 May 2018. They were supposed to be delivered in the month of June 2018. When June came I contacted Coy’s Wheels and I was told there were further delays. I was then given a date of late July. I waited until the end of July and contacted Coy’s wheels again to see what was going on. I was told that they were unable to get me the wheels at that time. I spoke with a man named Dave on every occasion. He said they would give me a refund on my charge. I have yet to receive a refund and I continue to call and speak to him regarding the refund yet nothing happens on their end. They never return my calls when I have left a message. I have no choice but to dispute the charge with USAA. I have not received the wheels or the refund. This has been a horrible company to do business with.

We spoke to the customer last night prior to this complaint being filed. We obtained the information necessary to provide a full refund. That refund was filed and processed once we opened for business today prior to receiving this message. A copy of that refund is attached. We spoke to the customer on many occasions and expressed to him the issue concerning the product he ordered. The product ordered is a new product and production has been delayed multiple times. At the beginning of the development of this project we were informed that the wheel mold would be finished and completed by the date provided to the customer. Unfortunately it was not. Sadly the process was delayed multiple times. The mold which is made to produce this wheel was finally completed in September of this year and production of product is underway. We are very sorry that the time table was increased. The manufacturing process is unfortunately out of our hands and took way to long. We understand the customers frustration and share his frustration. We take full responsibility for not providing the customer with the information needed to help him understand where we stood with the process. We also are very sorry if a message was not returned. We do have record that we spoke multiple times about the process but understand the need to improve communication. Also we are sorry that the refund was not processed promptly. When we spoke to the customer last night we expressed our apologies and expressed that the refund would be processed immediately this morning.

Even though this product was delayed by the mold factory which was out of our hands, we had hopes that we would be able to provide the desired product. We understand the customers frustration of buying a product and seeing it delayed. We offer our apologies and will strive to offer up better communication with all clients in the future. We offer the customer a 30% discount on any future order he makes. We understand that he is upset about the delay and wish to make it up to him.

We ask that the refund information provided be given to the issuing bank as to settle his credit card dispute. As noted the refund was done prior to our knowledge of said dispute.

We contacted the customer on Saturday to get all credit card information to refund the full amount but we were made aware that the credit card is no longer valid or in use. I am rejecting this response because:
On September 24th I received and deposited a check from James C in the amount of $150. On September 26th, the check bounced and the funds were withdrawn from my account as well as a $25 bank fee. Mr C is a crook and a thief! He's playing games and trying to steal my hard earned money! I have been very patient with Mr C in requesting my money back for a product that I never received! When I spoke with him on the phone, he was nothing less than RUDE. I see why he has so many bad reviews. Coy's Wheels and Old School Wheels should not be in business. If I do not receive my money, my next step is Yelp, Google reviews, Facebook, multiple carshows that I attend and any other social media outlet. The world needs to know that James C is a common criminal and can't be trusted.

The check that was sent to the customer was canceled as he had already done a charge back dispute with his credit card company and was awarded the $150. Per the Credit Card companies request no refund was to be issued as they were holding and returning funds to his credit card. We canceled the check seeing that the customer had already been refunded. At no point did the customer mention he had done a charge back dispute. He had actually told us he no longer had the card and that is why we issued a check. Had he mentioned that the charge back was done we would have stated that the refund would come via he's credit card company in our first response to his dispute. In the end we could not provide the caps the customer ordered but under no circumstance do we believe that the customer is entitled to double the refund. In good faith the customer should have mentioned the charge back in his first dispute. It would have saved all of us time and effort. We can not say if the customer is intentionally trying to receive a double refund but it does look that way from where we stand. The reason we did not include this information to this dispute is there is no way provide information unless the disputer rejects our response. We were notified of the charge back after our last response.

Completely horrible Customer Service. Once order was placed and PAID in FULL, Immediately, NO COMMUNICATION!!! Will not answer phone or email. Two weeks and still no Invoice or confirmed delivery. Was told when I placed order two weeks..
David is a joke..
Amex has disputed and removed the charges ($1750,.00)
I guess even $1750 orders are not important to them. *** was glad to take my order and guarantee me 2 day delivery!!!

The customer did make an order with us on May 4th 2018. The order was processed and shipped via UPS with a delivery date of this Friday May 18th, 1 day before the stated 2 week time frame that was given to the customer and acknowledged in his comments above. The customer was working with and emailing David, David has been on vacation since the 8th of May thus the reason emails may not have been answered. However I have been in the office and have had no phone calls from David S. I have ran a search for his number over the last 7 days and have had 0 calls from him. I am sorry that he felt his order was not being attended to, however as stated it was already shipped. A simple phone call on both sides would have solved this issue. The customer states that he has waited over 2 weeks but he has not, he has waited 11 days and his wheels would have been delivered on 13th day. As he has disputed charges we have stopped all package in route and will await contact from American Express. Again we are sorry the customer felt unattended to but as promised his order would have been delivered this Friday which was the 2 week mark we told him that it would take for his order to be delivered.

On October 30, 2017 I purchased a set of 4 17" C5 Black Chrome rims and tires for a 1972 Chevelle. David told me that they were out of stock until the end of February 2018. In March I started calling and he said he could not get that size anymore but would upgrade me to 18" at no additional charge. I agreed to this and have been repeatedly told that they are on their way, that they were shipped to the wrong address, that he had to reorder, He sent me the UPS tracking number and even took a picture where they were in transit and emailed it to me. All I got was 20 lug nuts worth $1 each. I called and told him to just refund my money and he agreed to do this, but has not.

I spoke to the customer this morning at 8:36 am mountain time prior to this complaint being filled. At that time I processed a refund while on the phone and emailed him a copy of the refund slip. I am a bit confused on how a complaint can be filled after the customer has received a refund. Having said that we are sorry this order took longer than the 8 week estimated build time that was originally given to the customer. This was due to 2 reasons. #1 we had shipped a set of wheels to the customer that where lost in transit over a month ago. At that time we began to process a new set of wheels for the customer. Sadly the company that finishes the wheels in the PVD black chrome finish during that time closed its doors. Being that the first set got lost we tried to replace the wheels as quickly as possible but in the end took too long for the customers liking. We understand that it was a longer wait than expect and offer our apologies. As of this past week we told the customer the wheels would ship and as of last night his tracking labels where processed and the wheels and tires where ready to ship. Attached you can find pictures of the refund processed and the shipping labels that were processed for his ship meant last night. I learned the customer wanted a refund via a f Facebook post he posted last night. As I entered the office today I began the process of refunding the customer. I reached out via Facebook as that is where the customer was complaining. I received no returned call or message. I then called the customer and got in contact with in at his place of business and expressed my apologies and processed a refund while I was on the phone with him. We understand that the original delivery time was estimated at 8 weeks but did not foresee the finishing company going out of business.The refund has been processed and emailed to the customer

I contacted coys wheels for a set of wheels and tires for a vehicle on February 19th. They took payment in the amount of $2000 on March 7th 2018. I was told a delivery date of April 6th. I contacted coys wheels checking on the order on March 28th. I was told the wheels are complete ready for powder coating. I was concerned about time so we decided not to powder coat the wheels and he was going to issue a credit for the coating and ship the wheels. After April 6th passed I contacted coys wheels regarding a ship date. After contacting coys wheels via email on April 10th I was told the wheels would ship on April 11th. I contacted coys wheels via email looking for a tracking number on April 11th, I was told the wheels would ship by the end of the week. On April 17th I again contacted coys wheels via messenger (so I have proof) regarding a missing tracking no. I got a message back with a tracking no and written proof the order was shipping that day, (April 17th). After the tracking number would not update on April 19th I contacted coys wheels reguarding the shipping issue. I was told by mr David c*** they would be leaving on April 20th. Since this date I have not had any response to my emails or return phone calls. The tracking number issued on the 17th of April still shows no updated to shipping label produced. April 23 2018.

This set of wheels was custom ordered and the customer was given a estimated build time. The build time was delayed by unavailability of pieces necessary to finish the order. Communication with the customer was continuous via Facebook messenger, there was a brief period we were out of the office for a trade show which was expressed on both voicemail and via Facebook messenger.The customer has received his wheels and had told us via face book messenger post this complaint that he wanted the wheels shipped to him. attached you will find screen shots of consistent messages between the customer and us. The customer said he filled this complaint because he could not get a hold of us while we were out of town. I Purchased wheels online/ over the phone with Dave Coy for $1000. I was concerned that the wheels might not fit my vehicle. I expressed my concern with David over the phone before placing my order. He assured me that they wound fit. I asked what if they don't? He replied "they will". After receiving the wheels, I tested fired one of the wheesl and took some measurements. I expressed my concern to David via face book messenger that I didn't think they would work for me. I asked my options, we tried to resolve the problem. Unfortunately we both came to the conclusion that I would need to send the wheels back for a refund. He gave me a RA number and directions to ship the wheels back to him. He received the wheels back on 11/1, I called over the phone to receive my credit. He said he would process the return. I waited a few days, never received a credit back. I followed up, he claimed he processed the return. He said he would email me a copy of the credit, I never received an email. I called again he seemed confused and thought it could be a mistake by his credit card vendor. Said he would look into it and return my call. I never received a call back. I checked with my bank to see if any pending transactions. I called again, he seemed to be getting annoyed and claimed again he processed the return. Said he would send the receipt, no email. Now I have left several messages with him. He is not retuning my calls. I still have not received a credit of any kind. He has not sent me any proof of return. He has the wheels

My name is James C and I have issued the customer a full refund minus the shipping cost. Refunds on returned wheels can take 5-7 working days from the time we receive the product back form the customer. This is due to the time taken to check in and inspect all returned items. We are sorry the customer did not receive the attention and or phone calls needed. We strive to return every call promptly and effectively. We do want the customer to understand that per our return policy stated on our website at http://coyswheel.com/returns.html returns must be made with in 15 days of the customer receiving product. In this case the customer had the product for over 2 months before he had asked for a return. Normally we would not allow the return to occur per our policy but, understanding we guaranteed the fitment we allowed the return to occur. We have made special exception for the customer in this case. We hope the attached copy of the refund will be sufficient in resolving this issue.
