Review: Terrible customer service with NO regard for customers' well being. Flaky and unreliable company. On Thursday my mother scheduled a delivery for the next day ( Friday) . When she called in the early evening on Friday to check on their ETA, they simply stated that their drivers hadn't made it to [redacted] yet ( which is about 15 min away from [redacted]). They never showed up on Friday and did not answer her phone calls all day Saturday (yet they list they are open on saturdays) She is STILL without oil and the company has not returned her phone calls and messages meanwhile all this weekend the temperature has been below 0 degrees. Awful. I would never recommend this company to anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like to give this information to the public so that others do not go through the stress and discomfort that this brought to my family. I think that this company should feel some sort of obligation to provide acceptable service to their customers; IE I would like them to change their processes to ensure that something like this does not ever happen again to another family. Perhaps calling the household to let them know the delivery was delayed, at least providing information is better than going MIA on someone that is depending on their service.

Review: On Wednesday November 4, 2015 I arranged an oil delivery for 100 gallons of oil at the agreed upon price of $1.90/gal. I was told a)delivery would be made Thursday November 5, 2015 & b)my card would not be charged until after delivery was made. I did not get my oil Thursday, my card was charged a total of $194 on Thursday. Friday morning I called again, I was told deliveries got backed up Thursday & delivery would definitely be made on Friday 11/6. Delivery was never made. My husband & I made calls all day Saturday during their posted business hours to their office number & to a wireless number we had been called from Wednesday (wireless number is not listed on any of their websites, I got it off my caller id). No one answered, no one returned any of our messages. I also sent an email & a [redacted] message, also ignored. Never received my oil Saturday. I'm now out of oil & out of $ for oil elsewhere because they took my money already! It's 57 degrees outside, I have 2 children under 4 and I can neither turn my heat on or give them a bath unless I boil water first. This is unacceptable!Desired Settlement: Full refund and for no other family to ever fall victim to thus disgusting company!

Review: On approx. 21 Jan. 2015 I called The Cozy Oil company and scheduled a heating Oil delivery to have my tank filled. After making a follow up call, I received my delivery on 29 or 31 Jan. 2015(I was unable to make out the actual date, as it looks like 31 was written over the original 29). At that time the Cozy Oil company charged a different price than agreed upon for an oil delivery. During the original call, the recorded message stated the price was $2.29 per gallon of oil. I scheduled my delivery under the understanding that this was the price I would be charged, and gave the company my debit card information because the company was unable to give me a delivery date, due to the volume of business their company was receiving during this, their busy season. When the company delivered the oil, they left a bill charging a price of $3.10 per gallon plus a $4.00 miscellaneous charge for a total bill of $271.22. When I called on 2 Feb. 2015 to inquire about the error, it was explained that the company charged a different price because I received 86.2 gallons. I did not receive a minimum of 100 gallons so apparently they are able to charge an additional $0.81 per gallon! I explained that at no time during the conversation was I told that there was a minimum delivery amount. The company then explained that it didn't need to disclose that information because "every oil company" has a minimum delivery of 100 gallons. I again explained that I was never told of a minimum, at which time I was instructed to email the company and they would resolve the issue. I emailed the company on 3 Feb. 2015 explaining the situation but never received a reply. Instead, I received a charge to my debit card in the amount of $250.00. I still have no idea where this price came from? The correct amount should have been for $197.40( the advertised price of $2.29 multiplied by the amount of oil received (86.2 gallons).Desired Settlement: I would simply like to pay the agree upon amount of $2.29 per gallon of heating oil totaling $197.40, resulting in a refund to my debit card of $52.60
