1. When the roof is torn off down to the plywood deck it is inspected on the outside for any damage and replaced as needed. This is stated in the contract. On this particular job two pieces of plywood were determined to be damaged and were replaced. 2. If the area stated by the homeowner was in such poor condition at the time of installation it would have been replaced. It would have been a safety issue and would not have supported a crew walking and installing shingles. 3. Home Inspector stated: The plywood sheathing is damaged and deteriorated in the attic. Repairs are needed to maintain the stability of roof. Inspector never stated he was on rooftop in the area of question. 3. If the roof was not installed properly the homeowner would have had leaks in the area of concern and would have had damage to the interior drywall. No leaks were ever reported to us. 4. No corners were cut in the installation of this roof. It was installed per manufacturers specifications.
