Walking in to the Animal Kingdom pet store at the Tucson Mall on Saturday, April 12, 2014, I was immediately taken aback by how warm the temperatures were within the business. Every single happy for sale with in the store was panting and on the verge of becoming ill. There was very little to no ventilation in majority of the cages that the pets were confined in, further compounding the problem. When I addressed my concern to the store manager, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said these were the conditions they were dealt with, and that it will only get worse during the summer months. This is, without question, inhumane and unethical treatment of animals
