Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***
It was after my third time at CPM, when the bolt was replaced, and they alleged the compressor was working, that they should have told me it was broken, like they told me at *** ***After that test drive by CPM, as I stated, the car was bucking and shaking which it was not doing previouslyIt was certainly not "running fine" as *** thought. After the fourth time returning to CPM, I was not going back to them EVER, whether it was day, days, or longerAt no time did CPM tell me the compressor was badI should have been told that before they changed the hose Also, I had to leave the car at *** ***That is why the repair dates may reflectit was 8-days later when the repairs were madeLike I said, I paid out-of-pocket for a rental vehicleFurthermore, the car was at *** *** previously for the starter, so there was absolutely no reason for *** *** to be checking the A/C compressorCPM, however, never mentioned that the compressor was in disrepairIt was years old and only had a 2-year warranty (which was evident by the receipt I provided ***) so, it was no longer under warranty after years. The matter of the belt shredding was caused by the original compressor, handled by CPM, and replaced with the new compressor so, no, the issue did not "straighten itself out" as *** questioned(Please see receipts). CPM should, at minimum, refund me for their "work”Regardless, the parts they replaced, at the very least, did nothing to repair the car
Regards,
*** ***

To: Revdex.com From : CPM Auto CareComplaint # ***Date: July 12,2017We did not receive a complaint from Revdex.com but we did receive a letter certified mail from *** *** dated June 9, and received on June 18, 2017.I'm sorry that *** *** is having so many problems with her car
.She came in on May , for an oil change and decide to get her AC charged We proceeded to charge the AC with the Snap On machineThe machine did not sense a leak of any kind so it proceeded to charge the vehicleThe AC was operational when she left, When we charge an AC we also advise customers that we put dye in the system and that if there was leak and she came back and repaired the vehicle they would be no charge to recharge the AC, yes she did come back the next day and the AC was not operational and we found that there was a leak in the hose that connected the compressor to the hoseWe ordered the hose from *** so it was original equipment hose right from the manufacturer and we recharged the AC, The Ac again was working, And yes the vehicle would not startWe assumed it was a low battery and the battery was new, After charging the battery for a few minutes the car started. *** did come back and we found out that the line we had not seated right ( Now keep in mind this is right from the manufacturer,) we had to replace the bolt with a shorter bolt that came with the hose from the manufacturer.and we recharged the ac again, and this time we could see the condensation on the pipes and the windows, so we know that the ac was working, and the compressor was working. Now there was no complaint about starting or running problems at this time, And the car started and was test driven and ran with no problems and I'm going to guess that it was May ,The AC system was not overcharged as she is stating,Now we received a letter dated June about her situation .It seems that the car was towed to *** *** and they replace the starter CPM did not touch the starter or were near the area of the starter The starter just decide to stop working Note that was on May which is days laterCPM was not responsible for the starter to decide to stop workingAlso note nothing about the AC or how the vehicle was running was mentioned at this time I'm assuming it was still working and the vehicle was running fine..*** also has a receipt where she went back to *** *** due to the serpentine belt snapped which was probably caused by the ac compressor seizing upNow this was done on Mat 31,now that's days later .Now why wasn't this noted on May when the car was there for the starter work,Also if the compressor was replaced years ago it should have been warrantied by the repair garage that original installed it, And they also replaced a crankshaft seal which again CPM is not responsible for the compressor seizing up and shredding the belt, We did not replace the compressor.Cpm followed all procedures in repairing ***'s vehicleWe are not responsible for the starter deciding to stop working and the compressor deciding to seize up and shred the belt*** is also complaining that the vehicle did not run right it was decelerating and accelerating since the second time she was in on My 18.2017,but I don't see anywhere were this matter got taken cared of , Did it straighten itself out?In closing CPM did nothing to cause the problems that *** is experiencing with her vehicle and I don't fell that a refund is in order, We feel bad about the inconvenience of coming back times but we did the repairs per procedures for the repairs at hand.Sincerely yours*** *** General MangerCPM Auto and TireTiogue AveCoventry RI 02816***
