I visited CPR Cell Phone Repair Lawton in order to get my Xbox One X fixed because the HDMI signal went out. *** told me they would charge me $32.70 to look at it and get back to me on if it was the port or the HDMI Retimmer chip. I specifically asked the cost of each of these repairs. *** told me it would be an additional $100 for the port and $150 for the chip. I left my console there on the premise that both of these repairs could be carried out if a problem was found and paid the $32.70. The next day I was told, by ***, that the Retimmer chip was in fact the problem, but they could not do that repair there. (When I asked *** directly about what he had said in regard to the pricing of the repair his reply was "Oh yeah, sorry about that, I forgot we cant do that here.") This is a deficiency in the company's marketplace performance with regard to a service they allegedly agreed to provide. Nothing was done to correct this blatant lie that they admitted to.
I believe that Mr. has already received his requested outcome. Mr. was refunded on 8/16/2020. Please see the attached receipt and email sent to him at the same time.***

I have spoken with *** to try and understand what was going through his mind when he quoted you the repair cost of the chip. The chip replacement was a repair that we had previously handled with the location in Wichita Falls, but that is no longer the case. I apologize for the error and believe that it won't happen again.I have issued you a refund and sent over receipts. Please let me know if you do not receive them.>
