I went to pay $for two nights of parking at the machine in the parking lot The machine requires exact payment only I put in $cash into the machine and then went to pay the rest with my credit card I was charged thirty additional dollars instead of $ I requested $back from the company and they refused to assist me No where on their signs for payment does it indicate that you cannot do this

I am a monthly parker at this lot and recently they lost a large number of spaces, due to the construction on the Hoan bridge. They were charging $73/mo for non-reserved spot (not as close/no coverage from freeway) and since they lost their cheaper back lot they lowered everyone's price to $52.80, which is fine. However, they recently handed out flyers saying they will not allow parking in their lake lot for the duration of Summerfest. The problem I have is they stated they will not credit our accounts for taking away service; "due to the already below market rates”. They give the option to cancel or the option to increase your plan to $100 for "reserved spots" which are truly no different than their non-reserved spots. They also refer their customers to pay daily at their other lots.
So basically, they will have the opportunity to triple dip on their parking lot: Taking a monthly fee from their customers and not crediting them for taking away service, albeit temporarily, getting paid from Summerfest customers, and then getting paid from their monthly customers to also pay at their other areas lots; which can be as high as $10/day... but this depends on how long you park. I think this is absolutely unprofessional.

Review: Parking Notice Number [redacted] Location 560-0046 (License number [redacted] wrongful ticket violation of $53.00 for a $3.00 parking lot. I was wrongfully given a parking violation on 9/24/2013 @ 4:04pm CST. I purchased a $3.00 parking ticket green with number 177831 and got to my car at 4:15pm and there was a parking violation for $53.00. I called the dispute ticket phone number immediately to tell her that they issued an invalid parking citation. She put me on hold and said the parking manager said I had ticket number [redacted], I told her No I have [redacted] this is what was given to me. There was a man walking around the lot that looked very questionable taking pics of license plate numbers. I know I got the violation because I had out of state plates and they figured I wouldn't dispute and they could collect $53.00. I have been parking in this lot since May 2013 and have never gotten a violation. I am a staff member at the local technical college across from the lot ([redacted]). I am still in disbelief that they feel if they charge people $53.00 for a $3.00 lot this is a scam and that if a man captures a receipt that you display in your window and plate that they assume that he captured the right car, NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: Release the parking violation, because it is invalid!

citation. Please understand that in no way were you targeted because of

an out of state license plate. Each day we know the starting and

ending ticket numbers that are valid for the lot. In your case, my

manager either mistakenly read [redacted] or maybe that ticket was

visable from the previous day. Regardless of what happened, we will

void the citation based upon your information and we apologize for any

inconvenience this may have caused.
