Very unhappy so far and as far as I can tell I won't be very happy with this company in the future

This company is a JOKE!!! I called them on April 6th to find out if I had been sent my share of a class action lawsuit with my former employerThey looked it up and asked my addressThey had the wrong address but I had recently had moved so that was understandableI asked if they could void that check and send a new one to my current addressThe woman on the phone stated they had to wait weeks for the check to be sent back from the post office before they could issue a new checkAgain understandableIm sure they deal with fraud on a regular basisI called back on the date the lady had told me toThe new person on the phone said they had received itI then was told to look in my e-mail so I could sign paperwork for them to issue a new checkFineThen I was told that the request would be sent to the bankI was thinking days to a month for the bank to fix it because you know banks there slowBUT NOThe lady told me that IT TAKES WEEKS FOR THE BANK TO MAKE A NEW CHECK!!! WHAT!!! She said she would call when they had received the check it may come fasterGuess what they never called meSo I called them back weeks later and they still hadn't received itI then called on the 1st of July they said they had received itI was excited but when I didn't receive it after a week I called backNow there telling me the paperwork they forced me to sign to get the new check it says in small print that they only send out checks on the 15th of each monthWHY??? Now I'm still waiting and this company is insane and runs a terrible business full of manipulation and gamesI am furious

Review: This company is a law group dealing in class action law suits. One was done and won by my former employer and I was contacted by them to respond to the suit if I wanted compensation. I did. I contacted them to inquire the status of the suit and was told they did not receive my correspondence. I assured them it was sent and the error was clearly on their end. They dismissed me, told me I needed proof I sent it, told them my postal carrier remembers taking my card. They ignore me. Unwilling to admit error in their offices, the rude dismissal by their manager leaves many questions to the ethics going on.Desired Settlement: The monies owed to me they are keeping.

Response:

Dear Ms. [redacted], This email is in regards to complaint number listed above from [redacted]. It is presumed that Ms. [redacted] is a class member in one of the settlements we administrated. We are unable to confirm which settlement as the name of the case is not included in her complaint. The complaint is described as CPT ignoring her and unwilling to admit error. She states that we informed her that we did not receive her correspondence (presumably her claim form), and when she insisted that she sent it to us, we dismissed her. CPT’s protocol for Class Members who contact us claiming to have sent in their paperwork when we do not show record of receiving it is to require proof of submission. If documents were sent to us by mail, we require proof of mailing. If sent to us by fax, we require proof of fax, etc…It is presumed that when Ms. [redacted] contacted CPT and confirmed that we did not have her claim form/paperwork, we followed our protocol and requested the proper proof and she did not have it. Therefore, there is nothing we can do. The settlements we administrate have very strict guidelines with respect to submission of documents, and once the cases receive final approval from the court, there is no way to include additional claims that were not received by the court ordered deadline. Please advise if there is any further information needed in order to properly respond to this complaint. Thank you,
