Review: On October**, 2013 I sent a check in the amount of $28.00 to renew my subscription to [redacted] magazine which I had subscribed to for years. My subscription was renewed from December 2013 until November 2014. I also had an problem that I also addressed at the time in which the last copy I receive of [redacted] was my August 2013 issue, so I never received three issues from my old subscription either. So I paid for 15 issues of [redacted] magazine that I never received. So based on their rates they owe me $35.00 for magazines I never received. Since my first e-mail I sent on December[redacted], 2013 to my current e-mails, I have never received any acknowledgement to my e-mails or letters. The company continues to send me e-mails about their products, but nothing on my subscription. After being a good customer for years you would think they would at least acknowledge my correspondence. I know they are still in business because they are still publishing CQ magazine. I don't want CQ magazine I want [redacted] or a refund of $35.00Desired Settlement: I do not want a different magazine, I do not want any on line information sent, if [redacted] is no longer published then I want a full $35.00 refund for issues I paid for but never received,

Review: This company accepted magazine subscriptions knowing that they will not be sending them out. The company sent a refund check in the mail and it was NSF. The company then said they would refund via credit card and took my information and no refund has yet taken place. The original purchase date was Nov/2013 it is not April/2014 and still not resolved.Desired Settlement: Would like a refund with NSF charges ASAP

Review: Re. CQ Amateur Radio Magazine. This subscription is paid in full through July 2017. The last issue received was May 2013. I am not sure what miscommunication occurred but under no circumstances did CQ Communications have permission to cancel this subscription and keep the money. I have written them twice asking them to rectify. They have refused to send the back issues (now 5 in October) and continue the subscription. Nor will they refund the price paid - asked $110.00. (Based on dollars sent for the 50 issue we have not/will not receive) I noticed you received another individuals complaint in July that states resolved. Could you help us get our situation settled. At this point, we would prefer reimbursement of $110.00. If you need further information, let me know.Desired Settlement: With 5 missed shipments and CQ Communication's refusal to rectify, we would like $110.00 (One hundred ten dollars) for the 50 issues we did not/will not receive.

Review: Ordered 1 year print subscription to CQ Magazine on 12-*-2015. Have NOT received any. Requesting refund of $36.95.Desired Settlement: Requesting refund of $36.95.

Business

Response:

[redacted] ordered two books and a subscription - and sent a payment of $52.95. He was send and has received the books. I found his request for a refund on his subscription in this morning's emails. When I processed his refund this morning I deducted the cost of the books $16 and their $10.50 shipping charge for a total of $26.50 from his payment of $52.95 - and issued a refund of $26.45 via [redacted] earlier today. He denied the refund and emailed me - after further research I learned his order was placed during a "free shipping" promo and his subscription refund should have been for $36.95. I email him and advised him a corrected refund would be forthcoming.I will issue a $36.95 via [redacted].Thank you for your assistance.

Review: Good evening.

I paid a one year CQ magazine subscription fee of US$38.85 to this company in September 2014. When I did not receive the September issue or the October issue by late October I sent an e-mail to register my complaint.

Their customer service representative responded via e-mail to me on ** October 2014 indicating that they had checked my subscription status, confirmed that my subscription had started in September, that they would be mailing me a replacement September issue, and that the October issue would be arriving "shortly" (please bear in mind that this exchange took place near the end of October).

The September issue did not arrive until ** November 2014 and I eventually received not one but TWO copies of the October issue. Further to this, as of this writing I have received neither my November issue nor my December issue of CQ magazine.

In this time, I filed a [redacted] dispute, sent e-mails and [redacted] messages complaining to this company, and even posted complaints to their [redacted] page (the squeaky wheel gets the grease) but I have received no response from the company.

Upon receiving no response from the company or their customer service representatives, I investigated and discovered a plethora of complaints regarding this company's customer service and non-delivery/late delivery of their magazines. Given this information and based upon this company's non-communication with me, I have no faith that they will be able to fulfill my subscription and I am left feeling as though they took my money and ran.

I believe it is worth noting that although the primary nature of the complaint is the non-delivery of products, the following categories also apply to my situation as secondary complaints:

* Delivery Issues: The late delivery of services.

* Customer Service Issues: Customer service failed to provide assistance.

* Customer Service Issues: The failure to respond to phone calls or written requests for assistance or support.

Thanks in advance for your time and attention regarding this matter!

Sincerely, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I have only received two magazine issues (the September and October issues) since my subscription started in September for which I paid US$38.85.

In light of the receipt of these two magazine issues and to be fair I hereby request a partial refund of my subscription fee in the amount of US$32.45.

I sent follow-up emails on April *, 2014 and June **, 2014 requesting a status of my refund. I did not receive a reply to these emails. Review: I have subscribed to a radio publication called Popular Communications for many years. Until recently this magazine discontinued publication for reasons unknown to me. I called Popular communications to advise them I did not receive my December 2013 issue. They sent it in a plastic cover. Since then I have not received any issues of any type of magazine. I called them and at that time I was advise I had a refund of $72.00 coming and asked if I wanted to apply that to the digital publication and I advised them no that I wanted my refund. As of today, I have not received my refund and when I call to check up on it either the person(s) in their accounting department is out of the office or on another line. I just want my refund and do not want any other publications from this company. I have waited almost 10 months and have not received any satisfaction pertaining to my refund. Thank you[redacted]Desired Settlement: all I want is my refund. waiting this long is just not reputable.
