To Whom It May Concern,
The customer came into our store and tried to return an open package (2 headlight lamps) with no receipt. Upon further review of the package, the items inside the package were used and burned out. In addition, the...

lamps were different brand names than what was included in the package originally. Both our store manager and sales manager were on-site and addressed the issue with the customer. The customer became irate and starting yelling profanities at the store employees.
It is store policy, to issue a refund to the customer when the proper receipt showing the items were purchased from the store along with the original product.
Please note CQ of Springfield, IL, LLC (d/b/a CARQUEST of Springfield, IL) is an independent non-franchise which is locally owned. Our store policies may be different than other independent stores operating under the CARQUEST name.
We encourage the customer to return the correct product and present a receipt showing the items were purchased from the store.
Please note, the store maintains a cutting edge security system in the store and has all of this information/dispute was captured in a digital 1080 format.
We respectfully request this complaint be dropped as it is not valid and in accordance with store policy. In addition, the customer is not representing complete and accurate events.
We stand by our decision at the store level not to reimburse the customer for the correct items presented with no receipt at this time.

You have my receipt on the computer and even pulled it up while I was there. I was talked down to by the two employees! I did RETURN THE CORRECT PRODUCT and you had the receipt. I want the OWNER to respond and refund my entire total for how they treated me! You should hire better employees, I returned what they sold me! Again you have the receipt I saw it on the computer and I also have the proof through my bank stop the lies. I am providing TRUE information while your providing false information to save money? How SAD! I never used profanity again another lie! You have horrible reviews I am not the first or last person this will happen to!
