Review: [redacted] cashed my check when he didn't finish the job he was contracted to do. He refused to finish the work and when I attempted to tell him about issues with his work such as he was contracted to take a window out & close it up, take out a wall, and float and texture sheetrock all for the sum of 1,000.00, he verbally told me that he was charging me 1,500.00 and not a penny more. I disagreed with his inflated and over priced fee because he didnt take out the wall that was included in his 1,000 quote, my husband nearly took the window out for him, he didnt completely close up the wall the window was taken out of. My husband had to finish the inside closing of the wall but the outside of the wall is still open. He also didn't have to texture the wall in which was also included in his 1,000 quote. He did hang the sheetrock but since he has taken advantage of me in over charging me when he didn't do things as stated in his agreement with me and demanded payment even though he didnt finish his work. Also when he was working in my house he refused to clean up after himself causing damage to my home when he sanded and got it all over my kitchen, my kids bedroom, and all over much more stuff.Desired Settlement: 900.00 or I will pursue criminal charges. I have a copy of the check he deposited and pictures of the open wall on the outside. I have also been suffering from severe respiratory issues because of the dust from the sheetrock mess [redacted] didnt clean up after himself nor did he take proper precautions when sanding to make sure his mess was secluded to the area in which he was working.
