Review: They called 2 days before the move and asked for my credit card number. I told them that I do not give my credit card number out on the phone, especially since they had not even moved me yet and told him that I was going to pay by check anyway. This complaint type involves several issues. advertizing, contract issue, delivery issue and service issues. I was quoted one price on the phone and charged another price on the invoice. They scratched my end table, let the garage door down on the hood of my car, chipping the paint, made deep track marks which removed the paint when they slid the TV into the entertainment cavity in the wall. They couldn't get all of my furniture in the small truck they brought, even though I told the owner when he showed up with that small truck that "all of my furniture is not going to fit in that truck". When they gave me a bill for $1300, I refused to sign it because that was not the amount that his son had quoted to me. When he called to say he was taking me to small claims court to collect, his tone of voice was very intimidating, which stressed me out. I wrote him a check for $800, which he cashed, and told him to consider the debt paid in full. He wanted to come back 2 days later to complete the move, but I had to be out of the house. Thus I had to hire someone else to complete the move. I could not wait 2 days later. I really wanted not more contact with the company so I sought legal counsel and was told that I do not have to invite them back into my home under those circumstances. I am not making a claim for the damages they caused me and don't feel that he should continue to email, call, mail me, or threaten me with small claims. I should be the one taking him to small claims court, but I wish no further contact with him and I told him that I would not be requesting anything from him except to be left alone. They are not welcome back in my home. They have caused me enough stress and damages.Desired Settlement: That I should not have to pay them any more money since they are the ones who caused me damages.I was hoping that Revdex.com would intervene and stop them from harrassing me in continuing to try to collect more money from me. They are the ones who caused me damages. I'm not pursuing a claim against them for the damages they caused me and I want them to cease and desist from trying to contact me my letter, phone, email etc. I'm don't intend to pay them any more money because I'm paying for my own damages that they cause!

As a matter of policy, we require a credit card authorization before commencing any local move. We do not charge the card, but pre-authorize the card for the estimated amount of the move. The client has the option of paying by check or credit card. Occasionally, some parties are not comfortable providing this over the phone. Therefore, on the day of the move, I accompanied the move crew and obtained the required information. She provided the information and signed and dated the credit card authorization. As is standard with all of our moving estimates, we provide at no cost a visual survey conducted on-site and itemize all of the items to be moved. The client went through her home and advised us on what she wanted moved. A copy of the estimate and the table of measurement was provided to the client both prior to the move and on the day of the move. When I first arrived, the client indicated that she thought our truck would be too small. However, based upon the table of measurements when the survey was completed, the truck size was more than adequate. What occurred was that she asked the crew to move items that were not on the survey, which is okay, as we work by the hour and clients often under estimate what they need moved. We operate under the authority of the California Public Utility Commission. We are required to operate under their guidelines. The price of our hourly move was clearly stated on the estimate and bill of lading. To allow for unforeseen delays, we always provide a not to exceed price and this form was signed by the client. After several months of attempting to negotiate with the client and after repeated refusal to allow us to see the items that she claimed were damaged and if the client refusing to pay the remaining balance, we submitted the credit card authorization and obtained the remaining balance. The client filed a protest stating the charges were fraudulent. However, when we provided the backup documents, the credit card company agreed that the client was obligated to pay the charges. The credit was therefore reversed and the monies were transferred back into our bank account. We attempted five or six times to meet with the client and to review the damages so we could process her claim. However, she refused to allow us to see the damages. We cannot process a claim if we do not have an opportunity to repair or correct any damages. The client only recently provided copies of the invoices for damages with invoice dated in June and we agreed to pay one invoice in the amount of $100.00 for a minor drywall repair for goodwill purposes. We had noted various damages to the furniture moved and the client signed and initialed a form we use to document minor scrapes and other pre-existing damages. However, without us being able to see the supposed damages, we could not process any claim. As far as the damages to the car hood, our crew indicated they had accidently hit the garage door button causing the door to close. However, they managed to stop the door before it touched the car hood. Once again, she refused to allow us to see the damage so no claim could be processed. With respect to the claim that we refused to move her two days later, we have a signed statement from the client requesting us to return on April 10th, two days later. However, the next day she called and advised us she was hiring someone else to finish the job. She submitted a copy of an invoice dated in June 24, 2015 in the amount of $100.00 for garbage removal and relocation of wanted items. It is unknown why the client would expect us to pay for this. In conclusion, we have follow the Public Utility Commission policies and procedures as well as our own standards. If a client refuses to work with us, then we have no other choice but to take the necessary action to resolve the issue at hand.

The team work was tangible between the movers representing CR Moving Services, and the employees representing "down sizers" and "packers". Everything arrived safe and sound, including my mother's beloved grandfather clock. The movers possessed a great combination of gentleness, and confidence. Thank you for a job well done.

On July 8th CRMoving provided excellent service from initial call through the placement of furniture into storage unit. Cost estimate was straight forward; moving date/time set and followed. The two movers, Guy and Jr. displayed a genuine respect for myself and the careful packing of all items, some furniture was awkward to handle and others "wounded" from a long life with my mother, father, and myself.

The movers were very professional mixed with a bit of appropriate humor.

Wanted to follow up with you with the latest now that the house sale is eminent. That is great news for us. We could not come so far without you and your teams help. Can’t say enough about your guys and how they hung in there with us getting the house pickup, items to charity and trash disposed of. It was a traumatic three days for Linda and I which we could not have got done on schedule without your planning and follow up. The boxes we shipped to Virginia arrive within two weeks and were delivered without issue. Open them this weekend with my daughters and our mother’s treasures made it safely, now they will pass into the hands of the Grand-Daughters for them to enjoy. Again, a sincere Thank You to you and your crack team.

I recently moved from Citrus Heights, CA to Sparks, NV. I had 2 pickups and 2 drop-offs. Guy and his crew in both Citrus Heights & Sparks were absolutely a pleasure to work with!! They were professional, friendly, accommodating, and made my move so much easier and less stressful than it could have been. I would use them again and definitely recommend to any moving! Also Paul, the owner, helped me tremendously when I was having difficulty with the payment site. He walked me through it and stayed on the line with me until it was complete. I have never had personal service like that anywhere. Kudos to CR Moving!!!
