Review: My family purchased a home which we closed on May 31, 2013. At closing CR Property Group agreed to fix several issues which were found during our final walk through. This is a home which was flipped. That is the nature of CR Properties business. Because of the issues needing fixed we planned not to move in until June 22. The agreement to fix the issues stated that the issues were to be fixed by June 14th. We had very little contact from CR Property Group. Not once until June 10th did we here from them and that contact was initiated by us. Since then, they have tried on several occasions to back out from the outstanding items agreement signed on May 31st. On June 22nd the day we moved in, we had sewer back up into our basement. It took over a day for CR Properties to send out a plumber to look at the issue. He came unprepared. He had to come the next day and drill out pipes. Since this fix, there has been regular back ups of sewer into our basement. Also, there have been other issues found with the work that was done by this company that include exposed electrical wires, heating and air issues, and poor workmanship throughout. This was a house that was supposedly totally redone and sold with a home warranty. On July 15th (less than one month after moving in) the sewer backup became more severe. [redacted] came out last evening the 17th and drilled pipes and found mud. This means according to them that there is a significant fracture in the pipes under the basement floor. They are now there today, July 18th, jack hammering the floor up to find the fracture and fix the pipes so we can actually live in the house we purchased. This issue is both a safety and health issue. The issues still outstanding from the open items list signed at closing include an unsafe window that will not stay open (slams shut when you open it), window sash molding that was missing and exposes sharp edges of the glass pains of the window sash exposed on one of the bedrooms (two windows), etc.Desired Settlement: We purchased a home that was suppose to be livable. It is not. We are staying in a hotel tonight and who knows how long. We want these items fixed at CR Properties cost along with any other cost associated with not being able to live in our home. (ie. hotel, meal, etc.)

Review: We purchased our home from CR Property Group. The company buys and flips homes. The house was refurbished and looked very attractive, but shortly after me moved in we noticed the front porch starting to crack. The porch was repaired and painted and a flower planter was sat on it to hide the repairs. The porch is unsafe to walk on so we had to rope it off and relocate our mailbox so the mailman does not get injured delivering our mail. We ask that CR make the repairs to the porch and this is the response we got:I'm sorry to hear of your problem. Could you help me understand why we would be responsible for this repair ? Although the home was renovated, a home will always require some kind of maintenance . I wish we could make homes so that they lasted forever , but we can not. I believe this home had a full home inspection and no mention was made of any issues with the porch or any other portion of this problem your having now. How could've CR known this would happen, and how are we liable for the cost to repair now ? We always do out best to make homes both affordable and remodeled , however we can't predict the future , and the repairs that come.Unless I'm missing some type of neglect on our part, this repair is something you will need to take care of on your own .I asked for clarification from you as to why you felt we were responsible . We have only lived in this house for 2 months!!!!
