To whom it may concern:I believe our guest misunderstood the new service charge law It is still not illegal to enforce service charge in restaurants We have tried our best to explain to our guest that it is legal for applying service charge, but our guest didn't want to pay for the
fee To my knowledge, there are many restaurants that are doing the same fee with even a higher percentage such as 20% or 22% Some restaurants even charge service fee on special menu like San Diego Restaurant Week menu regardless of the party size We have our service fee written on our menu and we always let our guests know about the fee prior to ordering I apologize for any misunderstanding this may bring.Sincerely,*** ***

The bank card I use the day of my visit was on March 01, 2014, I think the card use was a USAAA card the card I have has been changed because my last card was misplaceMy banking information is *** *** *** ***I call the restaurant that evening and no one never return my call, the person on duty a male was nonchalant and took down my information, so he quoted and stated the manager would return my call this never happenHere we are two months later and still no resolution. Check the camera they don't lie we arrive between 3pm and pm sit towards the back (left side) I am very dissatisfied with the overall service, my wife order the seafood gumbo and the fired oysters, my daughter had the crabs and I had the shrimpPlease credit my account as quickly as possible and acknowledge that your food was not cook properly and because of this my wife became sick

Review: March 01,2014 I took my wife and daughter out to dinner at Crab hut restaurant located downtown San Diego. We arrive between 3-4pm. My wife had the seafood gumbo, and the fried oysters. After eating the oysters my wife started to feel ill. After returning home my wife got the chills, and started to vomit her food. I call the restaurant which was not concern, the server nonchalantly took my name and number but no one ever call me back. After spending a total $83.00 on the entire meal, you would think the manager would return my call, but no this did not happen a week later and still no return call. We are dissatisfied with the poor service and all thy can do at this point is provide us with a refund.thank you[redacted]Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of our money.

Review: Restaurant placed a mandatory gratuity/tip of 18% on the bill. When I spoke with the manager and informed him that a mandatory tip for groups of 8 or more was not allowed. His response was that, that policy only affected fast food.

Even after explaining to him, that the service was sub par. Even having a member of our party being humiliated by our server.Desired Settlement: I want the refund of the gratuity I was forced to pay.
