Review: The driveway they installed is deteriorating, the asphalt is lifting up and rolling off in many areas with pieces of asphalt everywhere. We followed their instructions to the tee. I have called them more then two dozen times and have emailed them and I am not getting any return phone calls from them.Desired Settlement: I would like them to come out and look at the driveway and tell me what they can do to repair it. I paid them $5900.00 in full when they completed the job.

When the customer first called I went out and looked at the drive. The marks in question are caused by incorrect power steering. They are either turning too tight on the drive or they are turning while the vehicle is stationary. She was home and I spoke to her at that time, I told her to be more careful when turning on the asphalt, especially during warm weather. It appears they are not following my instructions because as soon as temperatures rose in the spring they began having issues. Unfortunately, they are one of two customers in the last 15 years who have had this problem and can’t seem to adjust their turning habits to alleviate it.

Hi [redacted], I spoke with you this morning and we are rejecting the letter that **. [redacted] sent to you. He did not come and look at the driveway and speak with us. It is an outright lie on his part. We have a friend that deals with paving and he said that the top coat was made from shingles and not mixed well. We are finding roofing staples and shingles all over the driveway. We look at our neighbors drive that he did 6 years ago and it looks totally different and they did not have any problems. That is why we went with him to do our driveway. And from what our friend said that shingles stay soft and that is the problem not us turning our wheels on the drive. The major problem is right at the garage and if we turned our wheels there we would be running into the garage outside walls. The driveway continues to deteriorate and getting worse every day. We paid $5900.00 for this and we want it done right. Our phone calls to him have been for the past year with no response from him at all and if he would have come to look at the driveway when we first called him maybe the problem could have been solved much easier I would think.
