Not at all a good place to do business with. Not only is the proprietor extremely rude and unkind, but the associates give 0 information on the exotic pets that they are selling. Review: I purchased a Sugar Glider from Crabtree Creations and Critters Too 2 weeks ago. I was specifically looking for a baby one and I paid the full price for one expecting it to be a baby. I just took my sugar glider to the vet today (10-24-2014) and was informed that my sugar glider is a young adult and that the diet I had her on (suggested by the breeder - it is what they feed ALL of their sugar gliders) was unhealthy and not a good diet for them to be on because it could cause them to become sick from not eating everything they should be eating. (diet included - unmarked chicken pellets - no brand - , dried fruit, yogurt drops, and a vitamin/calcium powder) My sugar glider is sick and I contacted the breeder and told her that they lied to me about the age and she began to argue with me telling me I was out of place to say that despite having an Exotic veterinarian specialist do a thorough exam. The veterinarian also said that even after 2 weeks of having the sugar glider it would not show signs of sickness - therefore my pet was sick when sold to me. In the facility where I purchased my sugar glider, there were 4 cages (1ft x 1ft) stacked on top of each other containing the animals. In the cage my sugar glider came out of there were 2 others in the cage. The cage is not anywhere close to a healthy size for these animals because they need to be able to run around. Also, in one of the other cages they had 4 sugar gliders. This to me is a cruel way to treat an animal. The had a food bowl in each cage and only one bag per cage for the animals to get in (4 adult sized sugar gliders in one bag????). When I talked to the breeder I said "I will be more than happy to drive up there tomorrow and give her back to you and me get my money back" to which she responded "check your receipt". During the time of purchase I was not informed of any "all sales final" actions.Desired Settlement: I just want to get my money back that I paid for a BABY sugar glider. I was lied to and cheated and taken advantage of. The one I got is a young adult and I was told I was getting a baby that was between 9-12 weeks old. I have no problem driving to the location to give the sugar glider back and get my money back. I am not asking for the vet bill to be paid, I am perfectly content with keeping that bill. I am just wanting a baby when I am told that is what I am getting.
