" [redacted] placed her order on the 9th of September There was a delay on our side in getting back to her email, but on Sept 21st she was refunded per her request, and we also still honored and shipped her order as recompense for the poor customer service provided to her All of the orders we have received to date for our Craft Beer Club have been honored, and we have addressed each customer service issue That said, due to the restraints of being a small company, on occasion it has taken us some time to do so We are working on improving our customer service response time for the Craft Beer Club We will also be closing the Craft Beer Club by the end of the 1st Quarter to better focus on the other aspects of our business." August 3, Dear *** *** First of all let me apologize for Craft Beer Connection’s (CBC) bad businesses practices and for them not getting back to you immediatelyI received an email from the Revdex.com on July 15th and sent the complaint directly to CBC for
them to get back to you with what happened. I didn’t hear from them, so reached out again to them. After not hearing back from them again I asked ***, at Revdex.com, if they had gotten back to you and she. She told me that they had not. Looks like it is in my court and I will do the best I can without direct knowledge of exactly what happened with the CBC and your situationLet me explain a bit further. Three young and very nice men came to my husband in hopes of starting a company with a beer of the month club. We liked the young men very much, and as we have a wine of the month club, we thought it fit in very nicely with our business modelWe own The WineSellar & Brasserie, which has a wine shop, a casual bar with many craft beers on tap & by the bottle, a fine dining restaurant, monthly wine clubs and so forth. We worked with the CBC men for well over a year and a half before bringing them under our “banner” and helping them start the beer of the month clubsThey did great from the start and we had a good and open relationship with them. They handled the beer clubs and we went ahead doing our wine clubs and everyone was happy … even the customers. Then, the main man behind the team, made a big change in his life. He and his wife had just had their first baby and the wife decided she wanted to move back to the east coast, where her family lived, and raise their childrenWell, as it turned out, the business was definitely a three-man operation and with the main man out it started getting very hard on the two remaining men. They all had full time jobs apart from this business that they were hoping to step away from their jobs and go full time with CBCWe started realizing that they were having issues and tried to help, however, they were over their heads so quickly that they decided to close the business. They decided to take it to the end of the year, December, so they could fill orders that had come in to dateWe had no idea it had gotten to the point where they couldn’t keep up with things until the end. This was devastating to us as it is our name out there being brought down. Review: I ordered a beer of the month club for my daughter for Christmas which the money was promptly taken out of my account but shipment never came for 2 months and I signed up for the 3 month plan and after the first shipment my daughters account was closed. I paid for the first month, my daughter is of legal age and chose the beers wanted and we have not received another shipment. I made contact with the company via email three times giving them ample opportunity to reply which I still have not received any. If they cancelled the account due to PA regulations is one thing BUT they should have notified the customer and not just shutting the account down. I am the one that established the account for my daughter and paid for it but the emails went to my daughter but when I emailed them in regard to my daughters account, her or I have not received any response. I have moved on from their company but not responding to emails, letting a customer know that they have been cancelled or poor customer service.Desired Settlement: I would like just like an explanation as to why her account was cancelled and also as to why they did not take action on my emails. Poor customer service leads to badly run company in my eyes.
