We used Crafton to replace our furnace and damaged coil box before we moved into our new homeWhat should have been a two day job took much longer as a part had to be constructedIt didn't bother us because we were not in the house yetWhen we finally got in the house, we noticed a huge part sitting in the garageWe thought it was weird that they didn't dispose of it if they didn't need it, but didn't think too much about it as we were trying to get settledWe received a thank you note and a box of cookies including a coupon if we needed their services again
Two months later, we tried to turn on our A/C for the first time and it didn't workWe called our home warranty who sent another company out to fix itWhen the technician got here, he was shocked by the fact that the integral part of the air conditioning system, the evaporator coil, had been completely taken out and not replacedThe warranty didn't allow him to put the part back in
We called Crafton to ask why they didn't put the coil back in and he said that he didn't think it worked, which isn't correct because we moved in the winter and the air conditioning unit could not be tested at that timeWe told him that we would like him to put it back in so that we could get a second opinionHe told us that he would only do it if we called our warranty company and specifically request Crafton to come out againI told him that I didn't want to do that because the part that he removed to replace the coil box should have been put back in when he completed the project that he was already paid for*** Crafton told me that it would be a 2-day job and a "waste of time", then proceeded to tell me that he wouldn't do it because "that's stupid" and to "use my sense"
I have never experienced a company so unprofessional*** Crafton removed our evaporator coil and didn't put it back in because he expected us to call him once the weather got warm and we needed to use our A/CHe didn't complete his job that we paid him to do and instead of coming out to make it right, he insulted my intelligence and told me that the other technician was "being a brat" and could do it himself
I would never recommend this company to anybody and I think everybody should know what kind of morals these people holdThey clearly wanted to make more money from a job that should have already been completed

Crafton's HVAC had done a lot of work for me in the pastBefore Thanksgiving, I ordered a furnace for a rental house needing heatThey met me there, took my money, then stated it would be after ThanksgivingOn December 12, they returned the money and said they would not be doing itI lost a renter and nearly a month of timeAll they had to do is tell me from the beginning
