[redacted] came to my shop on friday april 10th and asked me to go to her house and look at her [redacted] ***it would not start.battery was dead.told her she could tow it to my garage.but I was attending wake that night and funeral on saterday.I had other people ahead of her probably monday I would be able to look at it.charged the batttery monday after noon.finished diagnoses on tuesday morning and ordered parts[redacted] was here.parts were to be delivered around 2pm [redacted] said she had class that night until seven.I told her it would be just under 300.00.we agreed to see each other the following morning at garage..when I arrived at the garage wednesday her my car was gone from the parking lot.she calls me and says mycar was unlocked.I responded so that gives you the right to take the car without paying for the repairsshe got irate an told me I stole her key.that I should return it.I told her the proper way to go about this is to come down and pay her bill the right way and she will recieve her key.she has been calling you other sevices like yours to try to intimadate me.I will have to go to small claims court and file.she has already been sent a certifyed letter with the bill.I had verbal ok to repair her vehicle in front of my employee

The information in this email response by Crafts Street Auto is deceptive and further evidence of unethical business practices and conduct. He wrote that I agreed to pay him $for an unknown repairThis is falseHe did not provide me with any written estimate and I would never agree to pay $for a $ignition coil repairI paid him $for services that I did not agree uponI also paid him $for fixing a valve gasket seal in NovemberThis is still leaking, and appears to never have been repaired or touchedThis is another example of deceptionOn the bill, he stated the valve cost $and labor cost $The total of this would be $ The additional charge then is $overcharge, which he claimed was cost of grommetsThis is further deception I also observed my car on the Monday where he strung an extension wire across the large parking lot to charge the battery of my carI watched tow trucks and others driving over itHe refused to provide an estimateI only had it towed there because he promised a free estimate prior to working on itAlso, he said he would fix the oil head gasket repair that was not fixed in November and should be covered under any mechanic repair (guaranteed) He harassed and bullied me, threatening to have me arrested for removing my car from the lotHe never provided me with any paper workHe is required by law to have my car in the shop on a liftThis was not done Crafts Street Auto is obligated, under law, to put all estimates in writing (*** 5.05)He is also obligated to do same day serviceInstead, he intentionally kept my car for many days, and told me that he had no obligation to fix it same day, and that he had oil changes that were waiting, etc He has threatened to steal my carHe had the police sent to my house as an act of harassmentHe continuously called me after I requested for all to be put in writing and sent to my post office box addressHe said I needed new ignition wiresI did not agree, as this was not cause of my car to stopIt was due to failure of the ignition coilHe has since sent me bill for ignition wires and plugs, duplicating chargesStated he took hours, while he took a few minutesHe took apart my distributor case in front of me and told me it was the ignition coil, yet refused to provide me with the written estimateHe kept my car for a replacement of an ignition coil, which should have been one day and minutes, from a Friday early afternoon until I removed it late Tuesday night from the parking lotHe told me he did not care that it was left with the window open and unlockedI do not understand how this business is still in business.
