Contracted to do as she described but with a twist. She was told u[ front as I hung a new ceiling 1/4" sheetrock that I could texture that but it would not look the same due to a stipple finish on the walls already. 1.I told her to do this right we could sand of the existing texture and then texture...

walls which would be an Extra $550.00 she said it is not in the budget just do the best you can.2.I was there for four days in and out setting bath hardware and mirrors and grab bars  as I had time why not leave a note or let me know through her husband who was there most of the time. She never paid for the hardware labor and I did not invoice yet. (2 hours at 55.00 per hour)3.As far as the toilet is concerned if a toilet is loose it is the bolts not being snug enough and a simple turn of the wrench would suffice. You do not reset a toilet and mess with the wax seal to tighten up a toilet4.As to the missing grout I never moved nor is my number disconnected and if this was the case why not call me and ask to fix grout.5. Trim board around window , She was so upset at the quality that she added the bathroom countertop and backsplash to the work after the shower was complete She was very happy and said so many times over (6x6 tile not a hard job). Do you add work with poor workmanship? The board was removed by me when she added backsplash and she said leave it I never finished the board from years ago and I need to install varnish on 39 years in business I know how to answer complaints immediately and answer my phone had there been one call or text I would respond . I am and insurance adjuster and was here for 1 week after the job completion with not a single call. We also walked the job prior to me installing hardware and so for four days she used the bathroom and all of a sudden decided to find all these complaints, why did you pay after having the bathroom for four days. Let me have pictures of the grout and name of the new contractor to verify complaints

Regards,
[redacted]Answers to his complaints:I ( [redacted]) was here most of the time. His pattern of work was: work for around 2 hrs or less and leave. Sometimes return and sometimes not. I understand that you have to leave sometimes for things to dry. I have remodeled two houses myself. If he said it was taking too long, why wasn't he here. He just didn't show one day, no explanation and didn't talk to me or my wife. Here is what a friend of ours had to do to finish the project. 1. Put new metal anchor in floor for toilet, due to plastic anchor plate being broke (The toilet was loose to the floor and tilted side to side.) 2. Reset light fixture bracket on wall, to have flush mount to wall. 3. Reset quarter trim on outer edge of each side of tile work on shower(Reason for this, tile adhesive was put on to thick and/or texture on drywall was to thick.) Grouted between the and quarter trim, caulked on drywall edge. 4. Caulked upperedge of the floorboards/trim. (this was done to improve the look and to rid of small gaps.) 5. Filling major spaces between tub and shower tile, base of the tile with grout and filling upperedge of the in shower(this was also due to tile grout adhesive being put on so thick) filling minorareas in tile that are missing, including counter tile, backs plash and around sink.6. Caulked around on/off control valve, tub spigot.7. Replace sink drain, including trap and plug. (to match nickel plated fixture.8. Cut lower trim board to fit bottom of window (due to backsplash bring so high). Hung trim boards around windows and caulk. Hang blinds and cover box. 9. Repaint around shower tile, paint quarter bead trim, touch up paint on majority of the walls. 10. Hang shower curtain rod. Only thing I wanted done was for him to finish the job. No communication between me and builder. After not seeing him fora couple days and seen what shape he had left it in, we didn't want him back in the house. Sincerely, [redacted] and [redacted] [redacted] p.s.: pictures included
