Craftsmen Concrete A Division Of CJ Investment Inc Reviews (5)

Review: I hired this company "Craftsmen Contractors, a Division of CJ Investments, Inc.", the contractor's name is "[redacted]", to repair a crack in my basement's wall. After inspection [redacted] said that it's going to be an easy job and he asked for $150.00. I paid the whole amount and he said that he'll be back in a Week to remove any cement or glue left after repairing the crack.

Several Weeks after the repair, the wall started leaking again from the first Thunderstorm, I had plastic bags, towels and cloth under the crack. So I called and asked him to stop by and see what's needs to be done but no luck. I've tried to call and leave messages for the past 10 days but still no luck. Finally he called back on Thursday, May 29th around 3:00 PM and said that he'll call when he gets to the shop.

He things it's OK to insult my intelligence, PLUS I have a copy of the invoice saying: "Life Time Warranty" and I'll be more than happy to pdf or copy the document.

Either FINISH this lousy job or REFUND my money back or I'll be forced to let the court deal with them.

I am responding to a complaint that was submitted back on 6/2/14 with 10 of [redacted]. While I do notagree with Mr. [redacted]'s comments I believe the quickest way to resolve this matter is to refund hispayment. If you have any further questions please feel free to call.

Review: I hired Craftsman to repair a leaky foundation wall. His exact words were that if he couldn't repair the leak satisfactorily,

then don't pay. After he made several attempts to repair leak, we thought it was taken care of. Immediately after paying him in full, the wall leaked again. He agreed to refund $850 and said that he could do no more. A second company was hired and repaired the leak in one application, at half the cost and offered a lifetime guarantee,

For nearly a year we have been unable to get a refund. We regularly get promises to get re-embursed and now he will no longer respond.Desired Settlement: getting the refund promised after a year of waiting.

[redacted] is a Licensed General Contractor in the State of Wisconsin, and he is not [redacted]. He hired our company to cut out concrete for a larger opening and and new concrete floor in the homeowners furnace room, and to also repair several different areas of moisture problems in the Basement and Crawl Space. We made about 11 trips from Wisconsin to [redacted] to complete the job. Including 2 times [redacted] agreed to meet me and did not. We completed the work and were paid after a considerable length of time.

Review: [redacted] of Concrete Craftsman fixed my seawall about 2 years ago for 3000.00 and it did not last even 4 months it came off in pieces. I contacted him right away and he said he would fix it. It took him one full year to come back which he did but he fixed it with same material and a few months later the same thing happened and even worse. The man said he would come back this summer and promised he would fix it. He will not return calls and will not even respond. He did bad concrete work . Since he does a lot of work in the tony part of Lake Geneva I fiqured he was the real deal . He appears friendly and nice and a man of his word but he does not stand behind his work. I basically flushed my money away. This is not fair it was not a couple of hundred dollars this was expensive. Concrete is suppose to last a long time not a few months!!!

Attached is the copy of my receipt for concrete work preformed in reference to my complaint against Concrete Craftsman.

Review: I have a concrete garage that is essentially a two story concrete parking structure. Since we owned the house, the roof, the parking area on the living room level, has leaked into the actual garage. Last summer we hired Craftsmen Concrete to water proof the roof. He and his crew applied xypex to the roof/upstairs parking and injected urethane foam

into the seams. The cost of the project was $4310. Over the winter, the roof not only leaked, water was almost pouring into the garage. Watching the rain fall on the roof/upstairs parking where once the water flowed over the seam separating the roof the the garage from the driveway, it now flowed to the seam and stopped as it went into the garage.Desired Settlement: For the $4300, I would like it fixed or my money back.

Our contract with the [redacted] was mainly to repair the aggregate of the upper parking area. Which we did by Power Washing the Pillar Posts and the Deck. Then we installed new aggregate where needed and finished with Two-Coats of Super Diamond Sheen to add durability and protection from deterioration.

this guy broke a basement window. filled our basement with dust trying to stop a leak. he broke our patio with his dump truck. French drain concrete pads had to be re poured. and the leak he was hired to fix never happened. this guy is incompetent
