I called and spoke to [redacted] of Craig Family Movers on July 2nd, e-mailed him on July 3rd and spoke to him on July 7th with regard to insurance claim forms. On July 2nd, he sent me an e-mail that simply said "Hi"

Review: We had hundreds of dollars worth of damage done to our table due to their negligence when loading. They told us that when we got 2 estimates and sent photos they would make it right. We did both of those things, and they immediately quit answering and returning our calls and e-mails. It has been 2 months, and we call 1-2 times per week hoping to catch someone. They are not responding or making any attempts to contact us and make things right. Phone numbers and e-mail is all still the same. They are dodging their resposibility.Desired Settlement: I would like to recieve the funds to repair the table promptly.

Review: I booked Craig Family Movers (CFM) to move personal items and furniture from [redacted] to an [redacted]-Cube located outside the building for June 30. [redacted] ([redacted]) informed me CFM was an experienced moving company that would wrap furniture and move the items to the cube. He advised me three men were needed, since I lived on a busy street, and someone would need to watch the truck. On June 30 I called CFM at 8:16, 11:18 and 2:28 to inquire about details of the furniture wrap and whether I needed furniture pads. I was advised by [redacted] not to purchase furniture pads, he said they are a "waste of money" and CFM would be wrapping my furniture. At 4:30 a three CFM crew arrived, [redacted] inquired whether I had blankets to cover furniture; I reminded [redacted] he advised me not to purchase furniture pads. [redacted] replied, "yeah, but I didn't think your furniture was going to be this nice." I purchased padded blankets at a nearby store. CFM utilized grocery carts my building provided to residents to move boxes. CFM dropped a box that was labeled "Fragile - Mirror on this Side" as they were unloading it from a cart. I complained they should utilize a dolly. I was told a dolly was on the way - it never came. Prior to any furniture getting removed from the apartment, CFM managed to scratch and create a large tear in a leather ottoman. I brought this to the attention of [redacted]. I advised CFM the legs came off my couch. [redacted] told me they did not need to take it apart. CFM attempted to shove the couch into an elevator without removing the legs. CFM tore a hole in the couch and significanlty scratched the legs - chunks of wood were scratched off. CFM finally took off two legs to load the couch. Additionally, when the couch was loaded in the Cube, CFM walked on the uncovered couch leaving sneaker prints. After I requested that they not walk on the couch, [redacted] dropped a box labeled "Fragile - Glass Bakeware" on a brick sidewalk. I watched the Cube, after the three men left the cube unattended for 45 minutes.Desired Settlement: CFM should replace the leather ottoman. CFM should replace or repair all damage to the couch. CFM should replace all damaged glass bakeware and the mirror. CFM should refund the funds paid for the third mover, since he was hired to watch the truck - I was required to take on that responsibility, since the men hired left the cube unattended. CFM should repair all scratches obtained on wood furniture for their ill advisement and lack of providing promised wrap for the furniture.

Review: Set up to have a move of my home goods by the moving company from [redacted] to my current location on October 26,2013. Movers showed up and moved everything. When they made the trip to move my $1000 60" TV, it was neither placed and secured in the truck properly nor removed by 2 persons upon delivery. I have e-mails showing that I have contacted and referencing my telephone calls to the owner who said he would come look at the damage. He then shut off his phones, and temporarily closed the business while I paid $460 for the move and was promised that he would look at the TV which is still damaged and I have pictures of. The company used to be "Move With [redacted]" and is owned by [redacted] in the Pittsburgh Area with at least 2 numbers listed on facebook. ###-###-#### and ###-###-####. When I told the owner, [redacted], I was in the Military he stated that he supposedly was as well, but this is no way to treat a fellow servicemember when my Insurance company will not replace the item due to it not being from weather or a home theft (I asked).Desired Settlement: As I told him, I will be willing to take legal action if necessary and include all legal fees in my request. He stated he had insurance and would be able to make a claim to replace the Television, but then chose to attempt to avoid me and change the company name and phone numbers without ever changing the email address.
