The staff at AGF was very friendly and professional. They accommodated my schedule for the install of my granite kitchen counter tops. The cost was within my budget. I am very impressed and completely satisfied with the work that was done.

I used AGF for granite countertops in a very small condo in South Boston and unfortunately had the experience you fear when you pay a contractor to complete a service in your home. I was referred to AGF by another person in my condo building, and while AGF showed early signs of lack of professionalism, I gave them the benefit of the doubt given the recommendation. When the time came for the countertop template, I gave them explicit measuring instructions the day before since I could not be there. That message was lost and not communicated to the team onsite, and therefore not followed. When the installation happened, they left a gaping hole in the granite, due to the information not being transferred and the template being measured improperly. They then told me that it was my fault for multiple reasons that were false and unfounded, and said I owed them hundreds of dollars extra to finish the job. When I expressed with confidence that this was not the customer's error, rather the company's, the female representative yelled at me and hung up on me. I was then sent to the owner (her husband) to resolve, who proceeded to yell even louder, for several minutes, making personal comments and presumptions, then finally threatened to sue me. I can't tell you how surprised I was to be treated like that by a "professional."
I wanted it to be over, and never wanted to deal with them again, so I paid them the money so the project was over. I will never recommend AGF to anyone, and hope this review saves someone from the experience that we had. Save yourself the time, hassle and stress by finding another place to purchase your countertops from.
