I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

response. I am aware after the conversation she was pleased to hear from me and I told her that I will strive to do better. I did have personal issues with my surrounding and I did not feel it necessary to burden the client with issues not pertaining to the actual receipt of her profile.

am rejecting this response because as you will see from the attached email correspondence with Mr. C. he was supposed to have paid the original amount owed in July of this year, NOT by the end of the year.  I have not received ANY payments from Mr C. to date relating to the original $1083 for the 2014 tax year.  Subsequently I discovered that Mr C.g had also made the same tax preparation mistake for the 2015 tax year resulting in $3732 amount now owed to the IRS due to his mistake.  As noted in my attached email correspondence I demanded that Mr C. also pay half of the 2015 tax obligation as well just like he committed to paying the 2014 tax obligation - and hasn't done so yet.  This would bring the total amount owed to me by Mr C. to $2940.00

I responded to Mr [redacted] on a few occasions regarding this matter. He was also informed during our conversations that I would refund the fees. I told him in a text today to expect to receive refund soon.

I am aware of the issue that I discussed with Mr. [redacted]. It was agreed that there would be a split of the penalty assessed by the IRS. I agreed at the time that I would refund the client 1083.00 by the end of the year. It appears that since that time of agreement and now, there has been a...

dramatic increase. The client is also assessing an amount that I am not familiar. It would be of great assistance if he can supply the information that would increase the amount dramatically. I have cash flow issues at this time because of the seasonal activity. However, it is not my intention to avoid an agreed amount.

In response to what the business stated. I accept that they are willing to give us a refund. However there was no mention on the amount, when or how that would be received. I am assuming it would be for the entire $180.Also, somewhere along the line there has been some misunderstanding? I do not believe I said Mr. C[redacted] used our debit card for payment without our permission. To clarify Mr. C[redacted] forwarded our debit card information as our account number. This was prior to his checking to see if it was okay to send as discussed. And I he had listened to his messages I called the same night and let him know it was not correct and not to send with that number as the account number.Regards, [redacted]

complete. They have a refund due. We will await their response through the Revdex.com. When you have a refund you are not considered late when the IRS owes you which is the position.

For the 2015 return, I am willing to forgo this portion of the claim only if Mr Craig acknowledges he will pay half of the 2015 tax obligation should the IRS not agree with his assessment and bill me for an improper deduction on that return, similar to 2014.  I would expect to provide documentation form the IRS should this be the case.As to the 2014 claim, I reject Mr Craig proposal to pay $500 by 3/15/17 and $583 by 4/20/17.  This total amount is well over due and Mr Craig had promised to pay over 6 month ago and made absolutely no effort.  I therefore cannot accept him at his word and expect payment in full on the entire $1083 now.  Until this amount is paid in full I expect to keep this complaint open.
