Crain Hyundai of Bentonville Nightmare From Hell
My entire car buying experience with Crain Hyundai of Bentonville was fraught with lies, falsified and late documents, a Sales Manager coming to my home (twice) and threatening me for more money (I had paid in full). I was told that I was purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle and only discovered that they had lied because I received original & falsified documents from them (which took forever to get - causing me to get a nice, “you’re going to be fined letter). Because I suffer from PTSD, and live alone, I gave their Sales Manager $1,800 (extra) because he threatened to take my car and wouldn’t leave. I made calls to the General Manager, Crain Headquarters and law enforcement. I was brushed off by all of them. While the SM was fired, I was told getting the money from him was my problem (by Crain). The Attorney General’s Office was told by Crain Headquarters they would honor the original agreement and give me my Certified Pre-Owned Warranty. While it showed up on the internet as indeed having one, when I phoned Hyundai Corporate I was informed otherwise - they lied to the Attorney General’s Office.
This is a very short version and doesn’t include their entire scam on me, nor the nightmare they put me through for two years. Because they wrote bad reviews, they wouldn’t allow me at the dealership to have my car serviced and told me to go out of the state (disabled elderly woman here). I have literally tried getting anyone I could to hold them accountable for their deception, extortion, and fraud. It seems they bring too much money into the coffers of the state for the little people to take them on. It’s going to take more than just me to wake-up others that their business practices are shady, to say the least.
I couldn’t even look at my car without feeling sick to my stomach and traded it in for a Subaru Crosstrek. I am treated like a valued and loved customer of Adventure Subaru, which is exactly as it should be.
Any help would be appreciated in trying to to save others from businesses like Crain Hyundai of Bentonville, who just don’t give a hoot about the people.

The sale of the vehicle was fineGetting the paperwork for the vehicle was a nightmareIt took six months and me coming in for three additional temp tags(Should have been more but I wasn't diligent on getting temp tags.) Once receiving the paperwork and going to register the vehicle I was informed by the revenue office that Crain had failed to fill out the title therefore the vehicle could not be registeredI returned and they filled out the paperwork for that particular day being the sale date to avoid fines for driving the car for the six months I could not register it due to their incompetence with paperworkUpon returning to the revenue office I was informed that no longer could get credit for a vehicle I had sold private party because the dealership changed the sale dateI returned to the dealership againSpoke with the general manager for over an hour regarding all of these issuesHe assured me the paperwork was fixed and sent me back to the revenue office, but promised me a three year service agreement to help change my perspective on the dealership and as bribery to change my review of the dealership on FacebookI returned to the revenue office, the paperwork was still not correct but was able to register the vehicleI returned to Crain and spoke with the general managerI explained I had to pay for each and every temp tag they issued and that the paperwork had still not been correctHe again told me he would be giving me a service agreement complementary for three years and stated it was a $value, and something he didn't give out very often but wanted to help make this situation right and retain my businessI left, still upset over my experience, but confident that they were going above and beyond expectations to keep me as a return customerSo, I held up my end of the bargain and changed my review to reflect this Upon going to utilize the promise of the three year service agreement I was informed that I was mistaken and it was a year, which is apparently three oil changesthis was inaccurate and I spoke again with the General managerHe told me I was wrong and he did not say thisI attempted to argue with him, but was so upset over the deception I just gave up and returned to the service area trying to hold back tears of frustration with this company My opinion of this business is now solidly that they are deceptive and dishonestI would warn anyone doing business with them to have every single thing placed in writing It should also be noted that while I was in their business trying to get my paperwork sorted out, I listened to two other customers having conversations with their salesmen explaining they too were having issues with paperwork, and listened to the dealership employees respond that they could just falsify the paperwork and make everything better Good luck to anyone dealing with this dealership, and PLEASE get everything in writing because they will recant on verbal agreements made once they have gotten what they want

I went into this business with a preapproved loan for $20,to buy a car I found a car I liked for $13,500, should be easy right? It wasn't One of the managers told me they couldn't accept my preapproved loan as it took three months to get a payout, when I talked to someone else they said they didn't take any other loans, can't get a straight answer The long and the short of it is, they are in the business of selling you one of their high interest loans and incidentally aren't too nice when you find out about this The price on the bill of the sale was $more than the price on the car, just dishonesty everywhere! When I found out about the interest rate on the loan one of the managers started screaming at me to get out! I'm a little traumatized to go buy a car now as I usually just have bought cars private party But BUYER BEWARE!!! Stay AWAY from this place!!!!

I bought a used vehicle Salesman lied to me about an option (Bluetooth Connectivity) that he said was on the vehicle and which was not Purchased late Saturday, July 16, Contacted salesman the following Monday morning and asked to return vehicle, which we had parked and not driven further They only offered to trade it for another vehicle, which I did not want to do I offered to deduct the SERVICE AND HANDLING FEE Sales manager hung up on me when I told him I would talk to my attorney and file complaint with Revdex.com
