I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I guess our verbal agreement when the purchase was made is apparently invalidI asked if the stove would be installed at the time of purchase before I agreed to purchase the stove in cash as to avoid taxes like I was told when purchasing, so that should come as no surprise to your companyWhy would I pay $for a stove and then have to find additional help to have it connected and installed? A proper company with great customer service provides both delivery and installation, not excuses to customersIt seems like spotty and shady services are being offered by your companyIt seems that services are and were promised, and are now being renegedAs far as the parts, I had them here in the house in the sink of the kitchen basementThe misunderstanding seemed to be your employees inability to properly describe the said piece that was "missing", and again their inability to take a matter of seconds to see that it was here the whole timeThey were only in a rush to leave the premisesRegardless, this does not excuse the fact that my tenant and myself were both told the same thing by both of your employees, that they came unprepared and without the proper tools to even connect the said stoveI should not have to receive a phone call stating that I can come and pick up the piece, but I would have to find someone else to install itThis is absurd, and is by no way a remedy to the situationSomething has to be done as far as compensation, since I now have had the stove connected without further headaches or discrepancies by someone elseBut, I had to pay for it since no one from your company would

Please see attached:The verbal agreement we had with [redacted] on the date of 02/**/16 was to deliver a new 24" stove with a one year warranty for $450, the tax was included in the price. We had given him a great deal because of the relationship we have with his father. As we had previously mentioned it is not our responsibility that this customer did not have the adequate gas connection to install the stove. We are not going to put at risk our licenses and our business in trying to install to a stove, where its obvious that there was no previous stove. We don't know if he is even allowed by the STATE OF NEW YORK DEPARTMENT OF BUILDINGS to have a stove in his basement legally. Our job is to deliver and connect the stove to an existing gas connection, and remove the old stove. This customer has not contacted us with any complaints or concerns after the date of delivery. We stand by our warranty for one year. In reference to compensation this customer o wes us $30 for the new flexible hose we left him in good faith, until he gets a plumber to install the proper gas connection.

On 02/**/16 our customer [redacted] purchased a new 24" stove for $450. The price quoted to the customer includes 1 year warranty and delivery. We delivered the stove to the customer's basement as he requested on 02/**/16. The customer then requested that our delivery drivers install the stove...

but there was no way of installing the unit. [redacted] then called our office and wanted an explanation of why the drivers could not install is his stove. We explained to him that he was missing the proper connection to install the unit. He was missing 3/4 fitting that is connected to the gas valve line in the wall. Also he did not have a flexible hose that connects the stove to the wall. We told him we can sell him a new flexible hose at $30, but we are not licensed plumbers to provide and install a 3/4 fitting to the gas valve line. As a corporation licensed by the department of consumer affairs we always unequivocally provide excellent s ervice to ALL OUR CUSTOMERS.If there is any other information that is requested please feel free to contact us.
