Our payment policy is 100% at initial visit (as signed below by [redacted] below) Every client supplies us with a credit card on file to ensure payment for services [redacted] was charged for her services via her credit card that she gave to us for payment as she had been for visits prior to this one After she had returned to pick her dog up from his very long holiday overnight and expressed the desire to pay cash we refunded her the credit card charges Below is a copy of her signed contract and her customer bill

Horrible and pathetic excuse for a rescueWe were given only minutes with the dog as the fosters home, we showed up on time to a scheduled appointment and were rushed to make a decision, write a check and leaveAll they care about is the checkFast forward about months, we had to make the horrible decision to better the dogs life by giving him up, as per their adoption agreement I email them the info and reasonsThe dog not being happy in his home is not a good enough reason to give him up, "adopting a dog is not a trial, it is a life commitment" really? Never knew that is what forever home meant(sarcasm intendedYes, he was suppose to be in his forever home here, his is not our first pet or will be our lastHe enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, the neighbors don't like that, we have received messages, been spoken to and even had the SPCA called on us because he was 'outdoors too much!" We were warned that if we keep him out as much as we have (he always has shade and water when he is outside) that he will probably be stolen off of our property! He is miserable in the house all day! I apologize I work many hours, and my wife is months pregnant with other kids in the house and can't go on multiple hour long walks with him everyday! No, instead when I messaged this "organization" I was told "Perhaps you can look into putting him into a doggy daycare..." really? That is your response? So he can probably just whine in a crate somewhere else? (not that all doggy day cares are like that)The responses I received were rude and condescending, They only care about the money they receive, not actually the animals, probably why they use other people to foster instead of doing it themselvesAvoid this money racket and find a new rescueI hope all the dogs in this rescue find good forever homes, but this organization is a joke

While I had heard mixed reviews about this rescue group, I myself did not have a good experienceIt is a small group that does some nice work, but the people that run the group are very unorganizedIf they got it together, they could really do some great work

On June ***, I adopted a dog from this rescue groupWithin days he was very illI took him to my vet who diagnosed him with a contagious illness and possible pnuemonia from being exposed during his foster careThe foster knew of his condition and ignored his health issues to where it worsened without getting appropriate veterinary careI contacted Crate Escape to let them know the situationThey stated they could not do anything A week later he was still sick They finally agreed they would take him back and give me a check in the mail for my adoption feeI have not received any word as to my adoption fee being sent out to me and do not have any money in my possession

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted].
First, the business did not willingly issue a refund. They refused for days even after they knowingly overdrafted my account multiple times. I had to call my bank multiple times, cancel the card, threaten to report the business’ behavior, and file a dispute through my bank - while traveling on a holiday weekend. I did not receive the funds until days later after my bank processed the dispute. Crate Escape’s general manager threatened to keep overdrafting my card instead of helping me to resolve a simple payment issue. My records show that I DID NOT receive a refund on the day I picked up my dog and paid the bill in full and in cash. I can supply records to prove this and my bank can confirm as well. My bank had to dispute the charges.  Crate Escape claimed that they could not refund the payment unless I supplied more credit card information - a suspicious and specious claim from a business that overdrafted my account The fact that they had my card information did not mean that they could ignore my written and verbal requests and overdraft my account for no real reason. Future customers should be warned that this is how Crate Escape will handle their sensitive debit/credit card information. The response from the business does not address the fact that the general manager ignored my legitimate request to pay in cash when I picked up my dog, as I have done for previous overnight and daycare stays at Crate Escape.  No general manager should respond to anyone who has been a customer for months by yelling, “you’re not a customer,” among other unnecessary and offensive things. When [redacted] called on that Sunday night, she did not ask for another debit card, accept my multiple requests to pay in cash,  or respond how  the manager of a business should. Instead she acknowledged that she had overdrawn my bank account, and threatened to do it again. She even withdrew the $50 customer service gesture that  my bank added to my account to avoid overdraft, returned payment, and late fees that would have resulted from [redacted] overdrafting my account. .   As I mentioned in my original complaint, Crate Escape ignored my multiple written and verbal requests to pay in cash and intentionally overdrew my bank account several times. After the business ignored
