Review: Brought my cat to be examined and got hit with very expensive charges. They claimed the cat was better but she was not. I will refuse to go back due to he doctors ability to help animals and provide reasonable price care.Desired Settlement: Would like my money back.

New York State privacy laws prohibit me from addressing the specifics contained in the medical record for this case. If Mr. Jacobi will sign a release allowing the medical records and the contents to be disclosed, I would be glad to discuss the details.

I can state that this cat, as with all patients that we admit to the hospital, was evaluated by a doctor, a treatment plan was prepared along with an estimate for the costs of the services that were recommended. This treatment plan and estimate were signed by the client. The case was discussed with the client at every step of treatment. The patient was discharged and the final bill was less than the estimate that was provided prior to admission and signed by the client.

As indicated by the client in their complaint, they did not bring the cat back to us, nor tell us that the cat was not doing well. Therefore, we did not have a chance to help them or their pet.

Documentation of all of the above, including notes relating to conversations with the owner can be provided if a signed release is obtained.
