Review: Crawford replaced my roof in 2008 as a "preferred contractor" for [redacted] Insurance after a claim following a tornado and hail. We had a very heavy rain on 8/29/15 after which I found my front porch ceiling to be dripping water and warped. When I went into the attic to investigate I found the lower corner of a dormer to be rotted through and leaking. I called a contractor to look at it and he found that there was no flashing installed on any of my three dormers and that all three were leaking to some extent and had been for some time. According to my contractor the dormer that damaged the porch had finally leaked and rotted enough to allow for a large amount of water to come through. I had no way to know that there was a problem until the rotted wood gave way and the water came through. [redacted] does not cover this damage and told me to take this up with Crawford so they could stand behind their work. After numerous calls to Joshua S[redacted] with no return call I reached out to my [redacted] agent who was able to get Mr. S[redacted] to call me on 8/24/15. Mr. S[redacted] sent his roofer, Mark M[redacted], out on Sunday, 8/30/15 to assess the situation. The roofer was able to confirm that no flashing was present and stated that there should have been flashing installed to prevent the leaks I have. 19 days have now passed with no resolution and no communication. I paid to have a contractor do a temporary silicone seal put in place to try to mitigate any further damages.Desired Settlement: I would like someone to repair the rotten wood, install the proper flashing, repair the roof properly, and pay for the temporary fix I had installed.
