Review: Instillation of waterproofing 06/18/2014. Shoddy workmanship. cable tv cable cut,installer lied said he did not do it. This required a cable company service call. installers child on premises unsupervised during install.On Monday June 23,2014 the supervisor and installer were to return and correct problems and check system for leaks ,this did not happen. Weekly calls to obtain warranty were unsuccessful untill Aug 20 2014. On Sept 11 2014 it rained producing several leaks. On. Sept 12 2014 we called Mr. [redacted] Called again Sept 16 2014 he said he would send his daughter [redacted] Sept 17. She came and scheduled an appointment for Sept 23 no show or call. no show or call Sept 24. We called again on Sept25.[redacted] came on Sept 26,inspected leaks and workmanship and scheduled appointment foe the 29th On the 29th they came but claimed they had no materials to do the repairs rescheduled for Sept 30. They came on the 30th did some repairs and were to return Oct 1st for leak check,no show due to personal problems. Oct 2nd checked for leaks 3 found .repairman became angry and stated we could get someone else to fix our problems. He did complete the repairs . Mr.[redacted] came to pick him up at which time I again informed him of my displeasure with the poor workmanship and attitude of his employees. He stated he would call me later and some one would return Oct 2 to check for leaks and complete further repairs. No call. spotsWe have pictures of poor workmanship, carpet cut back too far and unevenly and leak spots on carpeting.Desired Settlement: We would like the job finished to our satisfaction. Compensation for dest[redacted]ed flooring in bedroom,bathroom and hall.

The job was completed, but there was no mention of paying me the $611.08 for replacing my carpet. Signed note from [redacted] is attached.

As per our previous dealings with [redacted] we were not contacted by him on Mon. Mov 10 2014

Review: Crawford Waterproofing installed French drains at an investment property in June 2014. On July 14 after a heavy rain, parts of the basement were damp where the drain was put in. We called and reported the problem. Mr. [redacted] and two of his employees came by, looked at the floor, agreed there is a problem and promised to return and "make it right". Again on July 24 and July 27 we had more rain and this time even more of the basement was wet. We have pictures showing how much of the flooring was affected. Again we called to report the problem and again Mr. [redacted] comes by, looks at the problem and promises to " make it right.". We made multiple calls in July and August trying to get them back to fix the problem and always received the same promise that someone will be there on a specific day then no one shows up. We call again and get the same promise and still no one shows up. Finally in September, they returned to work and their jackhammer switch broke and they needed to get it fixed before they could finish. Interesting to note, the broken equipment was left in the basement for several days before they returned to pick it up for repair. That was two weeks ago. We are again waiting for them to return. Part of the basement is dug up with piping exposed and the new trench they started remains unfinished. I requested that our money be returned since they cannot or will not honor the "lifetime guarantee" but that also fell on deaf ears. We really don't know what else to do at this point. We are ready to sell this house but cannot do that while the basement is in this condition. Please help us get this resolved once and for all.Desired Settlement: At this point we would like a check for $5800 which is what we paid to have this work done back in June. It is clear that the drainage system they installed does not work they way it is supposed to and they are not honoring the lifetime warranty that was part of the contract.

The complaint [redacted], opened regarding Crawford Waterproofing has been resolved. They finally returned, retrenched around the entire basement perimeter, laid piping and gravel, and covered with concrete. It looks like the job was done correctly this time.
