The owner is a good salesman but not good following through. My neighbor and I both hired them to do some work in our basements. Work was sloppy and not completed. He claims his workers are well trained, but the quality of work indicates otherwise. My neighbor and it both tried to get the owner to come put and inspect the job, but he never came. The receptionist got very rude with me and rhen they simply quit answering calls.
I contracted the business for foundation and basement partial replacement on 02/23/16 for $10,500 with 1/2 down, half due on completion. Business was slow to start and would only work one or two days a week and just 2-3 hours when they showed. they demolished a 12 ft section of basement wall and removed some foundation blocks and called me back to tell me I need to do more demolition to the basement floor to keep the basement dry and they wanted the other 1/2 the money plus more to keep the basement dry when that was what they had been hired for ( I was promised a dry basement). My foundation and property is a disaster area. They were using cheap materials and unskilled laborers. I called the building inspector and they had violated many very important building codes. They used two dollar a bag concrete mix for the footers and only went a few inches into the top of the soil. they destroyed a corner of the basement wall loosening the block on what was a perfect wall (done by a separate contractor years ago) It all needs to come out back up and be redone and now repair on work that was good work. They argue with me and the inspector. Jim [redacted], operations, said they would come back to clean up the mess and do it right and never came back. I can't wait any longer. It's been almost two weeks. The entire job should have been completed two weeks ago. I have to hire an attorney to get my money back and I believe this is out right fraud. they obviously don't even know Indiana codes and should have never takent he job in the first place. The workers didn't even have tools and were using my little tools they found laying around. A prybar, crowbar and shovel and left them in horrible condition. They pulled scrap material out of my trash pile to cover the exterior! It's mostly wide open. They poorly installed a sump and pulled the old foundation wall walking on it and laying tools on it and it works poorly and looks horrible.
