Complaint"Very Displeased With Your Customer Service and Cleaning Policy"I called the store on 6/09/2014 to speak to the manager about an article of clothing that was damaged by this cleaner. Much to my surprise the general manager informed me that I should call the jean manufacturer and let them know what happened because it was no fault of the cleaners. This was very disappointing because I specifically asked before I paid if the jeans could be pressed without ironing the jean's leather patch (brand name). I was assured that they could be, plus the young lady placed a big yellow tag on the jeans with the message "do not iron leather patch on back"! Huh! I'm sorry, but this is the cleaners fault because they did not follow instructions! Better put, somebody didn't care or take the time to read the tagging message and ironed the patch anyway which shrunk and damaged the original look of my jeans. Now, this was really funny when your manager stated to me that she would be willing to cut the patch off so I won't have to look at it. WHAT? Why would I want you to do that when I requested that you not iron it in the first place? Please explain! If this was an impossible task to do then the jeans should not have been washed or ironed, but simply given back to me undone with a refund for the cost of cleaning. Someone should have said to me when I came to pick up my cloths "sorry, but we could not clean these jeans because there is/was a risk that we may damage the patch, period!" As you can see this was not the case. Plus, I was told that the manager would call me to discuss the issue, but of course I had to call her. I talked to the General Manager, [redacted], to see if she would at least offer to pay for this, but she refused and did nothing to help. I was never offered an apology by the manager, she never sorry not once when I spoke with her on the phone! Furthermore, I should not have to tell you that this was not the proper way to do business. She should have at least apologized and asked what your company could do to make this situation right. Telling me that it's not Crazy Cleanerz fault was very shocking. Plus the fact that I still was charged to have this business mess up my cloths even though I made sure in advanced that this would not happen. Where is the fairness in that or is something like this not as important as making money? Desired SettlementThe only option is to replace the jeans or a pair similar in style and brand. The jeans cannot be repaired!Business Response We are sorry that the patch on Mr [redacted] jeans messed up but it was not from "the ironing process" that he believes caused the damage. The damage became apparent after "the cleaning process" and all care label instructions were followed when cleaning the jeans. This is a fairly common issue with some brands of jeans and generally the consumer desires to just remove the patch vs sending the jeans back so we do that service for free. All too often cleaners get blamed for simple little issues that are attributable to the manufacturer. Most manufacturers are very willing to stand behind their products and offer little resistance in dealing with their customers and defective products. We try hard to please our customers but sometimes things just don't go perfect. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)If this was the case, why did the general manager ([redacted]) tell me that they put a cloth over the patch before ironing, but the heat from their machine still caused it to shrink? Please explain what the cleaning process is that causes leather patches like that to shrink like that. I could understand if the jeans shrunk! I guess I got the wrong brand. This is why this response even more disappointing that they will blame this on the manufacturer/s! This is not a "simple" matter, but a "finger pointing" matter. If this is "a fairly common issue" then why I was not warned that "the cleaning process" could damage my jeans? If any type of heat from your equipment could be a reason to damage my cloths then why take the risk? Just simply return them back to me undone. The response to this complaint is "lame and weak!" But, don't worry about this no more because I have just switched cleaners where this is not "a fairly common issue" and a "simple little issues!" For the record, I refuse to do business with a company that will not own up to a mistake and place the blame on everyone else, but themselves. If you tried so hard to please your customers then why is the Revdex.com involved and we are writing responses back and forth to a complaints? Final Business Response The general manager told you the procedure for covering patches with a cloth so that the patch wouldn't be damaged by the heat from the laundry / starch presses. We cover every patch all day long everyday on jeans as does any good knowledgeable cleaner. Once again the problem with your specific jeans happened in the wash before it ever went to the press. Your patch was damaged by the water that[redacted] provided us to wash your jeans in therefore it would of occurred anywhere that water was used in the cleaning of your jeans. The manufacturer has some issues with their patches that others don't generally have. In manufacturing even[redacted] has quality control issues at times and therefore so do garment manufacturers on a very regular basis. You are correct in that the particular brand you have seems to have this problem in the wash where most don't happen in the wash. This is a common problem in every cleaner every where in the world. In response to your point about being lame and weak sometimes thats just how the truth comes out and presents itself. In response to why the Revdex.com is involved it's because you contacted them because you chose not to listen to the truth to start with which is entirely your option. We are happy to have Revdex.com as a voice of reason in situations like this and we are proud of our Revdex.com rating. In a final response to telling us don't worry about it consider that done. We wish we could please every single customer but sometimes it's just impossible. We do thank you for past visits and we really are sorry that you weren't happy with us. In looking at your history we understand that you brought us many pair of laundered pants in the past so hopefully those were acceptable.

Cleaners broke the ziper on my skirt , when I asked to have my shirt repaired the owner [redacted] stated the cost to repair the ziper is 18.00 The owner stated the I the company would only pay halve of the cost to replace the ziper, I do not under stand why I would need to pay anything amount when the cleaners damaged my shirt. Desired SettlementMy request is for crazy cleaners to repair the ziper on my skirt and for me not to incure cost to have the ziper repaired.Business Response Mrs [redacted] was an unhappy visitor when she came in to complain about her zipper being broken. Mrs [redacted] had zero interest in learning anything about the process or how things happen at the cleaners. If Mrs [redacted] would of taken a few moments to listen and learn about what happens maybe she could of left here a satisfied customer. I'm not sure how Mrs [redacted] knows that the cleaners broke her zipper but she seemed headset that we did it and nothing was going to suit her but replacing her zipper. It's very seldom, almost if ever, that in the dry cleaning process zippers are broken. Here at Crazy Cleanerz I'm happy to say that we 100% hand finish all slacks and skirts meaning they are never even put onto old style pressing machines so I really have no idea how we could even"break" skirt zippers. With this said we decided long ago that in the event someone ever has a broken zipper we will split the cost of the repair and re-clean and repress the garment for free. Being that we have to pay an outside service provider we without a doubt incur losses on our very lenient policy towards broken zippers. For only $6 Mrs [redacted] could of had her situation remedied but she chose otherwise. We are sorry that Mrs [redacted] was so upset but we try to be more than fair and err in judgement to the side of our customers. It's hard to imagine someone getting so irate over such a fair policy but I guess we just can't please everyone. Thankfully we have about 40,000 fantastic customers and 40 or so we just can't please. Thanks again to the Revdex.com for being impartial and allowing each side to tell their story. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The zipper was no broken when the skirt was taken to the cleaner, and why should I have to pay for their mistake, also knowing about the cleaning process does not change the fact that the cleaners broke the zipper
