I am rejecting this response because: THE INFORMATION GIVEN BY AEC IS COMPLETELY INCORRECT, MY COMPLAINT WAS INCORRECTLY WORDED BACK TO ME, MY INSURANCE COMPANY IS THE ONE WHO TOLD ME TO WITHHOLD PAYMENT, WHICH WE DID, THEIR NEGLIGENCE CAUSED THE LEAK, I HAD NO PRIOR WATER DAMAGE AT ALL, THERE MAY HAVE BEEN STANDING WATER TRAPPED IN MY ROOF OR VENTS BUT WHEN THEIR LABORERS REMOVED THEM, ALL THAT WATER WENT INTO MY WALLS. I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT RUN AROUND FROM THE OWNER WHO WASHES HIS HANDS OF ANYTHING GOING ON WITH HIS PEOPLE, HE ACTUALLY TOLD ME THAT. WHO RUNS A BUSINESS THAT WAY? WHILE I WAS STANDING IN MY DOORWAY, GARY TOLD ME THAT IF MY INSURANCE COMPANY WOULDN'T GIVE AEC A CHECK FOR FULL REPLACEMENT OF ROOF ON THE SECOND ESTIMATE THEY WOULD USE ANOTHER COMPANY NAME..THAT'S SHADY..SCOTT UPSET THE ADJUSTOR,WHICH DELAYED GETTING A 2ND RESPONSE, WHICH IS THE REASON FOR DOING MY ROOF SO LATE IN THE SEASON, I ASKED THEM IN ADVANCE AND THEY NEVER SAID I WOULD LISTEN TO SHINGLES FLAPPING AROUND FOR MONTHS AT A TIME..VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I HAVE HAD THEIR OWN PEOPLE COME OUT TO INSPECT THE ROOF AND SAY TO ME, THEY SHOULD COME OUT AND SEE WHAT THEY SCREWED UP, NEVER DID I SAY THAT THE WATER DAMAGE WAS FROM THE TARP REMOVAL UNLESS SOMEONE CAN TELL ME THAT WATER CAN SWIM BACKWARDS UP TOWARDS THE TOP OF MY ROOF, SO DON'T INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE. THEIR LABORERS SCREWED UP, PLAIN AND SIMPLE AND INSTEAD OF OWNING UP TO IT, THEY SEND ME THREATENING TEXTS STATING THAT THEY ARE GOING AFTER ME FOR DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER, WHICH EVERYTHING I'VE STATED IS THE TRUTH, AND THAT THEY ARE GOING TO PUT A LEIN ON MY PROPERTY. IVE ASKED FOR ROUGHLY 4300.00 IN DAMAGES FROM THE COMPANY FOR WHICH BECAUSE OF THEIR NEGLIGENCE, HAVE CAUSED FURTHER DAMAGE TO MY HOME, WHICH COULD POTENTIALLY COST ME UPWARDS OF $10,000 IN DAMAGES AND I HAVE NOT ASKED THEM FOR TOTAL REIMBURSEMENT ON THAT. SO NOW THEY WANT TO THREATEN ME? AND THEY ARE ACCREDITED? HOW? IF AEC DOESN'T TRY TO MEET ME IN THE MIDDLE, THEN I HAVE NO CHOICE, BUT TO HAVE ALL DAMAGES REPAIRED AND SEEK AN ATTORNEY FOR COMPENSATION FOR THE TOTAL AMOUNT. I AS A CUSTOMER, HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO SEE THAT IF A JOB ISN'T DONE CORRECTLY, OR NEGLIGENTLY, THAT THE COMPANY SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE, PAY THE DAMAGES, AND OWN UP TO THEIR MISTAKE, AND NOT THREATEN THEIR CUSTOMERS (of which I have those msgs saved, as well as others voicing my concern to scott and gary) THEY SAY I HAVE A WARRANTY, WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO BOTHER WITH THAT FOR A BRAND NEW ROOF THAT WAS INSTALLED CAUSING THE DAMAGE AND EXTRA EXPENSE TO ME? SO NO, I WILL NOT AGREE TO FULL PAYMENT TO A COMPANY THAT THREATENS THEIR CUSTOMERS AND EXHIBITS NOTHING BUT UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND NEGLIGENCE. I HOPE THEY RE-THINK THEIR DECISION IN NOT COMING TO SOME TYPE OF FINANCIAL RESOLUTION. AND LASTLY, WHEN I TRIED TEXTING SCOTT, HE TOLD ME TO TALK TO GARY. GARY NEVER LETS YOU FINISH A SENTENCE AND TALKS OVER YOU, WHICH LEAD TO JUST HANGING UP THE PHONE WITH THEM. GARY HAD ALSO MENTIONED FOLLOWING MY DAUGHTERS COMMENTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA. NOT ONLY IS THAT A TAD BIT CREEPY, THE ONLY COMMENTS ABOUT HER ROOF WERE DIRECTED AT ANOTHER NEIGHBOR ON A LOCAL CHATROOM. THEY WERE NOT COMPLAINTS AGAINST AEC EITHER. SHE WAS UPSET WITH HER INSURANCE COMPANY. SO WHY IS HE STALKING MY DAUGHTER? ADD ALL OF THIS ALONG WITH AN OWNER WHO DOES NOTHING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE HIMSELF IS JUST THE WORST FORM OF UNPROFESSIONALISM I HAVE EVER HAD TO ENDURE.

In response to the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] All Exterior Contractors installed his new roof on November 29, 2016. Several weeks later, [redacted] Mr. [redacted] daughter informed [redacted] that a shingle has come off during a recent wind storm.  [redacted] informed her that a crew would be...

dispatched to look at the shingle coming off and to also collect final payment.  When [redacted] mentioned final payment to [redacted] she then stated that there was an alleged leak in the bathroom. A crew was dispatched and informed to make any repairs needed since there is full Labor and manufacturer warranty on the roof, and to look at the alleged leak.  The crew dispatched to Mr. [redacted] property inspected the roof and the alleged leak.  He noted that the roof was installed properly and did notice a small water stain, however, it appeared to be old and from prior leakage problem.  The area where the stain was at did not appear to be damp or wet to the touch. [redacted] informed Julie of this and she immediately stated that she would not be making final payment to All Exterior Contractors, Inc., until her insurance company inspected the installation of the roof and the alleged water damage on the ceiling.    Mr. [redacted] later called [redacted] accusing All Exterior Contractors’ crew members of removing the tarp that All Exterior Contractors initially had installed to prevent further damage to their home and, thereby causing the water damage.  However, the tarp was installed on a different section of the roof and not where the bathroom is located. After the insurance adjuster inspected the roof and the alleged water damage, [redacted] spoke to the insurance adjuster and was informed that there was nothing wrong the installation of the roof and the final payment was going to be released since the work had been done.  Had there been a claim for water damage, the insurance company would not have released final payment and would have held All Exterior Contractors, Inc. liable for said water damage and/or improper installation of the roof, and would have demanded that All Exterior Contractors, Inc. make the necessary repairs to the roof and/or the damage caused to the bathroom ceiling. Since the inspection, we have demanded final payment from Mr. [redacted] on several occasions.  He finally agreed to pay All Exterior Contractors, Inc. but informed [redacted] that he had spent the final payment that he received from the insurance company and did not have the money.  He further informed [redacted] to call back on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, to make arrangements to pick up the money.  However, when [redacted] reached out to him on April 12th, Mr. [redacted] did not respond and the only response we received was from him was this complaint with Revdex.com. Mr. [redacted] has a full labor/manufacturer warranty on his new roof system for anything factual that may occur in future.  All Exterior Contractors, Inc. stands by their product and service. This is blatant defamation.  Not to mention, Mr. [redacted] has misappropriated insurance funds that were released by his insurance company to pay the contractor (All Exterior Contractors, Inc.) and has used the same for his own personal gain.
