Review: On 13 Aug 2013, my wife and I purchased a 1999 [redacted] Rx 300 from [redacted] at Crazy Mountain Auto in Harlowton MT. While discussing the purchase of the vehicle, Mr [redacted] said it had been his wifes personal vehicle and that over $4,000 worth of maintenance had been done since they owned it. At the time of the purchase, Mr [redacted] stated he had several maintenance records that would be included with the vehicle when it was delivered to us in the coming days. We accepted his promise and paid for the vehicle in full with cash.On 15 or 16 Aug 2013, Mr [redacted] delivered the vehicle to us. He said he had been unable to find the maintenance records, but would send them to us next week.The following week we went to the dealership to have the Bill of Sale corrected as the first Bill of Sale had an incorrect Vehicle Identification Number. Mr [redacted] said he had not been able to find the records, but thought they were at his home.On 6 September 2013, Mr [redacted] called to say he was not able to find the promised records and that we should just try to get them ourselves from the [redacted] dealership where he had maintenance work done on the vehicle.We are making this complaint against Mr [redacted] for failing to provide documents. It has been a disappointing experience for us dealing with this used car salesman. Unfortunately his small hometown promises have been unfilled and he has brought discredit upon his profession and his business.Desired Settlement: Maintenance records provided as promised.
