The loss, as was stated came in on 12-23-due to heavy rain that flooded their garage, finished basement, and numerous closetsOur Project Manager arrived on site and did an assessment of the damages and gave a quote and the *** did sign a Work Authorization which states that it is impractical to give an accurate quote for services before completionThey also initialed the box that applies to the before mentioned comment
In looking through all the email correspondences from this loss we have no record of the *** saying that we threw Christmas presents awayThis was news to usTheir home did flood a second time that night from an additional rain stormWe did not cause the rainIf during our work we placed items that diverted the water it was not our intentions
The *** did sign an "Acknowledgment of Satisfactory Completion" formOnce the work was completed our PM prepared an estimate which was sent to the adjusterHe in turned made adjustments he felt needed to be made and came up with the final price of $10,This amount was issued in a check to the ***We never accused the *** of insurance fraudIt was simply stated that typically if insurance over pays a claim they are entitled to the money difference in return
Enclosed you will find all correspondence that we have had with the *** including the Work Authorization as well as Acknowledgment of Satisfactory CompletionI am willing to meet them halfway on the remaining balance of $2,
