I placed an order for a cake with this company and was not happy. They messed up my order, charged me for a fondant cake and delivered a butter-cream. I sent them a message complaining about the price of the cake as it was not fondant and requested some of my money be returned. this is the response I received.My original email asked why the price of the cake was so high and requested a refund because they did not use fondant as requested and paid for.Create-A-Cake response to me.[redacted] @ 2:42pm"First of all why would you post on my wall that you paid $100 for this cake when you only paid $70... you did not pay $100! Lying on my page to get me to loose potential customers is not right especially after you told the person you loved it at delivery. I am the one who took the original order and yes I quoted you $3.50 per serving for fondant and I also quoted you on a stand and cupcakes. When you came in you changed the order and only got the cake and got a different size as well. The order form did say to use buttercream and you told the person who delivered your cake Saturday that you loved it! Funny that the person who delivered it was the same person who took your order. If you had a complaint why did you not complain when it arrived vs 2 days later. The mistake on the price was probably made during the change of the original order...The Difference is $10 and Ill be happy to mail it to you."
