This is in response to the recent complaint we received from the Revdex.com about our manicure and pedicure services at our salon - Bellagio Salon & Nail Spa The complaint was sent to us and came from [redacted] [redacted] came into the salon with a coupon that we offer on our website for a $manicure and pedicure That is for our basic manicure and pedicure Amanda chose NOT to use this coupon for our basic manicure and pedicure and chose to have a $gel manicure instead We gave her a $discount on that manicure The manicure and pedicure takes more than one hour of time to complete The gel manicure usually lasts for about two weeks.We do apologize that the gel manicure and the pedicure was not to her satisfaction and did not last as long as it should, but we do guarantee our work If she would have come back to the salon or called us to let us know what happened, we would have been happy to fix the chipped nails at no cost to her We would like to offer her to come back for a free manicure at our salon Please call the manager of the salon, ***, explain this to her and set up the appointment

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I was never given the option "to choose" if I wanted to use the coupon for the basic manicure and pedicureThe reason I had mentioned the coupon to the man when I walked in the door was to ensure I received exactly what I was asking forI was never told that gel manicure was an up charge and that is was not considered a basic manicureThat is advertisement as I the customer was not aware what a basic manicure consists ofIf the salon does not guarantee their work then I do not understand how they can up charge you as much as they do solely on the fact that this type of gel manicure "will last longer, up to two to three weeks." that statement came directly from the managers mouthThey did give me a five dollar discount but that really did not make a difference considering I was only supposed to be charged thirty five dollarsThe product lasted four days and then started cracking and chipping and had a yellow tintAfter day five of the gels on my nails completely came offI do not think a free manicure will resolve this issue considering the last one that was supposed to be better quality and lasted only four daysI live in Racine which is about minutes away from the salonI went there because I was told it was a very nice salonIn all actuality we were rushed and treated rudelySo I would not like to go backI would like a refund because they up charged me without ever telling me that was going to happen and the quality of their work was very poorI also do not think it is professional for an employee to state "we can not charge you the difference between the two because we work on commission here so that would not be fair to the workersThat man is a hair stylist so he should not have said anything to you." The fact is, he is an employee of the salon, he did say the coupon would be honored and then at the end it wasn'tThe only person who was treated unfairly here was me as the customerThank you

Please contact *** at *** and ask to speak with *** ONLY to set up the appointment for the manicure during our regular business hours at Bellagio salon. Our offer will be good until December 31,

$35.00 manicure and pedicure.  That is for our basic manicure and pedicure.  Amanda chose NOT to use this coupon for our basic manicure and pedicure and chose to have a $55 gel manicure instead.  We gave her a $5.00 discount on that manicure.  The manicure and pedicure takes more than one hour of time to complete.  The gel manicure usually lasts for about two weeks.We do apologize that the gel manicure and the pedicure was not to her satisfaction and did not last as long as it should, but we do guarantee our work.  If she would have come back to the salon or called us to let us know what happened, we would have been happy to fix the chipped nails at no cost to her.  We would like to offer her to come back for a free manicure at our salon.  Please call the manager of the salon, [redacted], explain this to her and set up the appointment.
