We purchased a awning and installation from this business in Oct I called them today (1/3/17) and asked to get our deposit backI explained to him that there is now a leak and the balcony will require more work I asked for a my deposit back He said no because it’s a “custom awning” He said he was going to come tomorrow to do it When I pressed him exactly when he said maybe next week I explained to him that we will need to be home and will need a week notice We waited 1/months and nothing He’s just making things up and I feel this is unethicalI feel we should get our deposit back It says no where that this is non refundable No contract was signed He said the awning is next to him and I could come pick it up, since this is what the deposit went towardsNot good customer service or solution! On reading reviews on ***, this business has gotten poor reviews consistently I got frustrated with him and told him I will be contacting Revdex.com and hung up

The customer initially called complaining that they had not heard from us and wanted to cancel the job. On their paperwork, it said it would be approximately - weeks for installation and he called us on the 9th week. We received the product in the day prior to the customer calling
us. Once we finished the current job, we were going to contact him to schedule for installation the next day, if the current job was completed. When pressed about it, Jim told the customer that we could install it "next week" if that better suited him, as it was short notice. He was not making anything up, but was trying to be flexible. The customer did then indicate that he had issues with his balcony. Every job that we do is custom, and ordered specifically for the customer and their situation. We cannot just go and use the materials that were ordered specifically for them on another job. That is why the customer will put 50% down on the job: 1)to help purchase the materials that are needed for their specific job 2) so both parties have skin in the game and cannot just "walk away" without getting the job done. As it is, the customer's deposit does not even cover the retail price of their product before labor for installation is added. We also have time and labor invested in doing the estimate, ordering the product, getting the materials here, and sorting it out. The customer is more than welcome to complete their purchase of the product and install it themselves, or we can hold off and install it once their balcony issues are repaired

I ordered four sun screens from this company on 5-13- Three were size 6xand one was size 6x On 5/22/i received a box from them and when I opened the box, there were two packages I assumed three screens were in one and one screen in the other I opened the 6xpackage marked clearly on the package and when I tried to hang it up, it was obviously much larger than 6xand there was only one screen in the package The quality of the screen was very poor and not the quality I would have paid that price for I did not open the other package marked 6x I put it back in its package and sent the company an email on 5-23-re my issue to which they did not respond I gave them two days and called them 5/25/and told them that I was unhappy with the quality of the screens I did receive, the one I did open was the wrong size, and I did not receive my entire order I requested a return authorization number to return the product to them for a full refund The company see
