Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: What MrL [redacted] is saying is simply not trueI ( [redacted] ) spoke briefly with MrL [redacted] on the phone prior to him making the agreement about payment and servicesMrL [redacted] said he will replace the cover and cushions for $MrL [redacted] asked me I we wanted the wood frames on the patio chairs cleaned, polished, and stained for $a chairI told MrL [redacted] the patio chairs/recliners are metal, not woodMrL [redacted] said I can polished them up for you, and I said no, because it's metalOn the purchase MrL [redacted] provided you can see where he wrote out "clean & condition-wood." It's right above the over night charge of $which I did not approve and he went ahead charge my wife and IMrL [redacted] called me on the evening of May 10th at 5:pm saying he was going to do over night air and will still have the cushions ready by Friday May 12thI still have his message on my cell phoneOn Friday morning at 11:am MrL [redacted] called and left a message on my cell phone saying the cushions were ready for deliveryI called MrL [redacted] about the delivery date and time and the over night delivery chargeI said to MrL [redacted] I am not responsible for the over night delivery fee because I did not approve itI schedule with MrL [redacted] on the phone to meet me at 11:the following day/Saturday for delivery and paymentI went out to run an errand on Saturday morning at 9:am and MrL [redacted] arrived to deliver the cushionsMy wife not knowing what transpired between MrL [redacted] and I went ahead to write a check out for MrL [redacted] as indicatedI immediately called MrL [redacted] and asked him to reconsider the payment given to him by my wifeThe amount was incorrect per our phone conversationMrL [redacted] agreed to refund $no later than Tuesday May 16thMrL [redacted] stated I give you my word I will leave under your door mattI checked under the door matt on Monday through Saturday the following each afternoon for my refund of $MrL [redacted] also said he was going to call me when he had left the money under the door mattI never received a phone call from MrL**MrL [redacted] stated in his response he left $cash, with his business card in an envelope under the floor matt on May 16thI checked my cameras and I didn't see MrL** come to my house or front door the entire weekMy cameras hold footage for days storageI have cameras around my house for security reasons which are recording 24/with plenty of storage capacityAs I had mentioned before I still have the cell phone messages from MrL [redacted] from May and May MrL [redacted] has not refunded any money back to me [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

On 5-10-Mr [redacted] call me to upholster two patio chairs , with out door vinylI then made appointment to go see the patio chairs and were on out door material But they wanted vinylSo, I gave Mrs [redacted] an estimate of She wanted me to clean and polish the wood metal frame, no charge for two chairs.Mrs [redacted] call Mr [redacted] to approve the estimateI then talk to Mr [redacted] and explain what I was going to do , Uholster two patio chairs on vinyl and clean and polish the wood metal frameMr [redacted] approve the estimatefor I then call Mr [redacted] to let him know that we neded to order the Padding, It was no good and the padding was rotten.Mr [redacted] was OK with it .It was going to be for the padding and for the over-night charges.) did ask him if he had like the job , He said that it was every well done I then Call Mrs [redacted] to deliver the patio cushionsMrs [redacted] really like the jobSo, she wrote me the check for plus ,Plus for padding plus for over-night charges and taxtotal of On the 3rd day Mr [redacted] call me that he wanted me to refund the over night chargesSo, on 5-16-Mr [redacted] said that no body was going to be home , gut to leave the money under the floor mat in front of the doorI went and left cash with my bussiness card in an envelope under the floor matI did not hear from Mr [redacted] any more till nowCreative Car Care --- Lee M [redacted] 6-5-

I am rejecting this response because: What Mr. L** is saying is simply not true. I ([redacted]) spoke briefly with Mr. L** on the phone prior to him making the agreement about payment and services. Mr. L** said he will replace the cover and cushions for $160. Mr. L** asked me I we wanted the wood frames on the 2 patio chairs cleaned, polished, and stained for $20 a chair. I told Mr. L** the patio chairs/recliners are metal, not wood. Mr. L** said I can polished them up for you, and I said no, because it's metal. On the purchase Mr. L** provided you can see where he wrote out "clean & condition-wood." It's right above the over night charge of $27.00 which I did not approve and he went ahead charge my wife and I. Mr. L** called me on the evening of May 10th at 5:22 pm saying he was going to do over night air and will still have the cushions ready by Friday May 12th. I still have his message on my cell phone. On Friday morning at 11:25 am Mr. L** called and left a message on my cell phone saying the cushions were ready for delivery. I called Mr. L** about the delivery date and time and the over night delivery charge. I said to Mr. L** I am not responsible for the over night delivery fee because I did not approve it. I schedule with Mr. L** on the phone to meet me at 11:30 the following day/Saturday for delivery and payment. I went out to run an errand on Saturday morning at 9:30 am and Mr. L** arrived to deliver the cushions. My wife not knowing what transpired between Mr. L** and I went ahead to write a check out for Mr. L** as indicated. I immediately called Mr. L** and asked him to reconsider the payment given to him by my wife. The amount was incorrect per our phone conversation. Mr. L** agreed to refund $50 no later than Tuesday May 16th. Mr. L** stated I give you my word I will leave under your door matt. I checked under the door matt on Monday through Saturday the following each afternoon for my refund of $50. Mr. L** also said he was going to call me when he had left the money under the door matt. I never received a phone call from Mr. L**. Mr. L** stated in his response he left $50.00 cash, with his business card in an envelope under the floor matt on May 16th. I checked my cameras and I didn't see Mr. L** come to my house or front door the entire week. My cameras hold footage for 60 days storage. I have cameras around my house for security reasons which are recording 24/7 with plenty of storage capacity. As I had mentioned before I still have the 2 cell phone messages from Mr. L** from May 10 and May 12. Mr. L** has not refunded any money back to me.

So, on 5-16-17 Mr [redacted] said that no body was going to be home , gut to leave the money under the floor mat in front of the door.
