 I have attached the warranty we received with the play set we purchased. NO WHERE DOES IT EVER SAY THAT BECAUSE WE BOUGHT IT ON SALE/CLEARANCE/ OR FROM A BUSINESS GOING OUT OF BUSINESS our consumer warranty if void. I have asked several times for them to email me their company policy that states why our warranty is voided, but they have yet to provide proof of this.

Hi Revdex.com! First of all, the price this buyer paid for our Swing Set is just used as a proof that it is a clearance sales. We never use this price for other purpose. Secondly, like what I said before, once our retail customers put our Swing Set for clearance, they are supposed to be responsible for any problem with their clearance items. So, the final buyers need to go back to the store to sort out the problems there. This is why we keep telling this customer from the very beginning to go back the store for any problem they are having. The store is going to help them out. Thanks!

situations. Secondly, this customer just paid $240.00 for this unite. This price will far from being enough for the new and complete swing set of this model. Thirdly, our warranty doesn't cover any product from clearance and resell. We did call this customer and offer the solution of his paying half of the total price, including the parts and the freight. But he refused it. So, what this customer can do is to return this unit to the store where they bought this set from. Thanks!

Review: We purchased a play set, The Sequoia Model 3200, from Creative Cedar Designs. Some of the hardware components we were sent were defective, including the following parts:

PLASTIC STAKES (QTY 1) #P004

4 HOLE TRIANGLE PLATE (QTY 1) #M100A

CLIMBING ROCKS (MISSING 1) #B10LGR

SWING HANGER (1 DEFECTIVE)- #M020

2 1/2" DECK SCREW - 6 SCREWS WERE NOT MACHINED WITH THREADS

5/16" T-NUT (QTY 2) DEFECTIVE THREADS

We followed the replacement part request guidelines noted in our owner's manual for the play set and made the initial part request via completion of their on-line form. I have followed up with several phone calls to the company and it has now been 6 weeks since my original request was made. When I call there is a lot of confusion on the other end. By the end of the phone call everything seems o.k., and they say they are sending the parts, but they still have not sent the parts.

I have spoken to [redacted], and [redacted] at Creative Cedar Designs.Desired Settlement: I would like the parts sent to us so that we may complete our play set, for which we spent over $1000.00. Any assistance you can provide in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Revdex.com! First of all, sorry for what happened to this customer. I have checked on our side and there is no record for her requests on replacement parts. So, we need the order information in order to sort out her problem here.

Review: My mother in law purchased a Fit n Fun Sunnybrook playhouse for my daughter. We received the playhouse on May **, 2013, but did not open it until June *. We realized it was missing 4 pieces, which are necessary to the proper construction of the playhouse. My husband registered the product that evening, and filled out the part request form online. We never heard from them. My mother in law (the purchaser) called them twice, and again, we never heard from them, nor did we receive the parts. I called them again this afternoon, and spoke to [redacted]. First and foremost, she was terribly rude throughout the entire conversation, and even said that maybe my husband "just doesn't understand how websites work or how to follow instructions". I told her what the problem was, and she insisted that she has no record of anyone contacting the company with this issue, the only record they have was of the product being registered. I KNOW they were contacted more than once, and I was with my husband when he filled out the request form. She offered no solutions to my problem, except to go back online and fill out another form. I told her I wasn't comfortable doing that since they didn't get it the first time, and she continued to insist that was my only option. When I asked to speak to someone in a higher position than her, she became extremely rude, and told me there wasn't anyone above her available, and refused to give me the name of a manager/supervisor or a time I could call. She also hesitated in giving me her name, and I had to ask her 3 times, so i'm unsure if [redacted] is actually her name. When I continued to ask her what I was supposed to do about my missing parts, she told me she "doesn't have time for this" and hung up the phone. She offered me no advice, solutions, or anything. She was very rude and was not concerned about the customers she is supposed to be assisting.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the parts that are missing from my daughters playhouse. I would also like an apology from the company for the treatment I received from their customer service person, [redacted]. If they are not able to provide these, I would like them to refund my mother in law's money, and come and pick up their defective playhouse.

Review: We purchased the SKY VIEW / THE PHOENIX GYM Model 3101 on January **, 2015. On January [redacted] 2015 while putting the play set together we noticed we had received 2 right rails for the rock climbing wall (WSF001-10) instead of the needed right and left rails (WSF002-10). And that the screws to put the set together were also wrong. So on the evening of January [redacted], 2015 we did as directed. Went to the company website www.creativecedardesigns.com and registered the play set, filled out the missing parts request, and emailed a copy of our receipt to the company. Never heard from them. Called on February [redacted], 2015 and was unable to reach anyone. Emailed them again, still no response. Now today I finally get a hold of "[redacted]" by calling ###-###-####. She states to me that per their company policy (which isnt written anywhere people just know thats "how it is" because the play set was bought on clearance from a store going out of business it voids any kind of warranty to the product. I've read the Owners Manual and Assembly Instructions front to back. The manual states on page 37 that Creative Cedar Designs (CCD) warrants its Fit N Fun series free from defects for a period of one year from the original date of purchase. It covers all parts including wood, hardware, and accessories. And also a limited 10yr warranty. 0-30 days from date of purchase is at no cost, after 30 days customer to pay shipping and handling. NO WHERE does it ever say that because it was bought on sale or clearance or from a business going out of sale that this would cause the consumer warranty to be voided. "[redacted]" told me she is not only the supervisor, but also the manager and that there is no policy she can give me a copy of that states my warranty is voided, its just known that the product was sold "as is". She blamed the store for opening the boxes (which were factory sealed when we brought them home) and mixing parts. She stated that she doesnt get emails so ours was never seen, yet later knew that we were missing the correct screws, before I myself had brought it up. She is the only one who works with the company and the owners only speak [redacted]. Even though the owners manual states to not take the product back to the store, her suggestion to me was to return it back to the store and to follow whatever the Revdex.com says I need to do. She isnt able to help me. Unless I want to pay for the part $7 and shipping $23 for a total of about 30 bucks (this doesnt include the needed screws) because I dont have a valid warranty per their company policy which she was unable to provide me a copy of, she knows what the owners manual says, but that doesnt matter because thats not policy!Desired Settlement: I just want my left rail and screws to put my kids swing set together. Per the copy of the warranty that came with the product this is a covered issue, and shouldnt be an issue. We followed the claim procedure and here we sit with a swing set we can't use.
