Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below After reviewing the response from creative child care I have determined that on top of everything else they are percent dishonest They did take those kids out in extremely cold weather under degrees and we did not want to face any retaliation against us or our child so we felt the best thing to do was immediately pull our son from their care As for them calling my wifes cell phone, they only tried twice, the second of which was immediatly before they had my wife paiged at work which is only for emergencies with my child, not to collect a debtThey are without a doubt dishonest and unless they are offering to drop this debt completely I am prepared to exhaust every option possible to not pay for services I was never given from a business that only cares about money, not kids Regards, [redacted]

Dear *** ***,
This is in response to your letter dated February 2, in regards to the account balance of *** and *** *** in the amount of $
To begin with, we were notified by *** *** on Thursday, January 16, that they would no longer
need our servicesThe receptionist was informed by *** that they found a place that was "a better fit" for their childThere was no mention of her son being taken outside in cold weather at the time or any other time since we do not allow the children outside if the temperature is belowdegrees.
Furthermore, our receptionist explained to *** *** that she needed to fill out the two week notice form and that she would be responsible for the those two weeks*** *** refused to fill out the simple form saying she was unaware of this policyPage 2, number of our application clearly states our policy and *** *** signed that agreement.
Beginning on Monday, January 20,we tried many times to reach *** *** to discuss the policy with herWhen she was finally reached, she was very angry and told us not to call her at work and that she refused to give us any paymentWe explained to her that we had tried her home many times but we never received a call back from her which led us to call her workAt this point *** *** was given an option to pay her balance or she would be sent to collectionsHer reply was "send me to collections; I'm not paying the balance."
The matter would have been resolved amicably if *** *** took the time fill out the two week notice form, or had voiced her concerns regarding the care her son receivedAs a parent, I would have quickly discussed any concerns I had if I thought my child was not being cared for appropriatelyTherefore, we are expecting the amount of $be paid by ** and *** *** for not upholding their contractual agreement.
Sincerely,
*** ***

The Revdex.com spoke with [redacted] from the business. She said that the child was rude to the teachers and mean to the children. He kept unlocking a door, opening and closing it while laughing even though he was told it is not safe to keep doing that as it placed other children at risk. The parents were asked...

to find alternative solutions after this and that is why the business feels they made this unfounded complaint.

Review: We took our son to this daycare for only two weeks, after witnessing them taking him outside in under 20 degree weather, and not addressing him trying to leave the premise when he was outside we decided that their service was poor and that we did not want him in this daycare anymore because of safety issues. We then informed them that he would be taken out without two weeks notice. Instead of asking us why they just informed us that we would have to pay for two weeks of him not attending. I do not believe that we should have to do this because we put him in a new daycare which is $40 more a week because their service was inferior, I would not have to face this inconvience if they had delivered the standards that they promised us. They basically want us to pay for 2 weeks that he was not in their care. And they have no interest in why we are leaving. In the end they are trying to collect $550.97 which include two $145 weeks of daycare, $20 in late fees, $103.23 of their collection fees, and $137.74 of the creditor collection fees, and it has not even been 2 weeks since we took him out of the daycare.Desired Settlement: I would like them to drop this issue because at the end of the day its about a child's safety, not money and they should understand that and learn to be more sensitive on issues of this nature.

Response:

Dear [redacted],

This is in response to your letter dated February 2, 2014 in regards to the account balance of [redacted] and [redacted] in the amount of $550.97.

To begin with, we were notified by [redacted] on Thursday, January 16, 2014 that they would no longer need our services. The receptionist was informed by [redacted] that they found a place that was "a better fit" for their child. There was no mention of her son being taken outside in cold weather at the time or any other time since we do not allow the children outside if the temperature is below40 degrees.

Furthermore, our receptionist explained to [redacted] that she needed to fill out the two week notice form and that she would be responsible for the those two weeks. [redacted] refused to fill out the simple form saying she was unaware of this policy. Page 2, number 5 of our application clearly states our policy and [redacted] signed that agreement.

Beginning on Monday, January 20,2014 we tried many times to reach [redacted] to discuss the policy with her. When she was finally reached, she was very angry and told us not to call her at work and that she refused to give us any payment. We explained to her that we had tried her home many times but we never received a call back from her which led us to call her work. At this point [redacted] was given an option to pay her balance or she would be sent to collections. Her reply was "send me to collections; I'm not paying the balance."

The matter would have been resolved amicably if [redacted] took the time fill out the two week notice form, or had voiced her concerns regarding the care her son received. As a parent, I would have quickly discussed any concerns I had if I thought my child was not being cared for appropriately. Therefore, we are expecting the amount of $550.97 be paid by ** and [redacted] for not upholding their contractual agreement.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Review: We signed up our son for summer camp. We were told and given a schedule of the events planned for the summer. They frequently did not honor the schedule of events and had mislead us when we were first inquired. The center is dirty and dark. The Juice that is provided to the children is watered down. On the picture of the handout that was given to us had children playing in a pool. There idea of water play involves a garden holes and a muddy back yard.
