Due to the nature of our business, confidentiality is a top priority It is important to note we deny all allegations made as part of the complaint against Creative Counseling and Evaluation We can speak in generalities as it pertains to the nature of our business and our business practicesOur response is as follows: Creative Counseling and Evaluation is an outpatient counseling practiceWe have a specialty service line which deals in the areas of forensic evaluation and treatmentOur practitioners are individually licensed in the state of Illinois to provide both evaluations and treatment with this forensic populationWe were and are approved practitioners in the state of Illinois to provide this type of forensic treatment We are considered preferred providers due to our training and experience.Best practice standards require use of the clinical polygraph as part of this specialized treatment process It is considered a crucial tool for the purposes of accountability and risk managementThe polygraph exams are outsourced to independent examiners who are also trained to provide testing to this specialty population Our clients are responsible to pay the examiners for this service, and fees range from $125, which is a reduced fee, to $350, which is full fee and the highest amount chargedThis revenue does not go to Creative Counseling and Evaluation in any capacityWe advocate for pro bono polygraph services if there is genuine financial needOur examiner in Chicago provides many reduced fee examsWe are often times in the challenging position to provide services to those ordered by the courtMany times these individuals are not motivated to receive the services and provide a great deal of resistanceWe put forth a great deal of energy attempting to engage these clients and give them the support needed to avoid future court involvement and become more productive and pro-social members of societyUnfortunately, not all those given this valuable opportunity to choose to take full advantage of it and end up having to answer to the Judge for their issues of non-compliancePlease let us know if we can provide any additional information
