Review: I was approached on the streets of NYC by this company for a photo shooting of my 7 years old daughter for a modelling project. We went to an appointment and paid a fee of $850 for the photo shooting with the promise of her photos to be on their catalog for big name companies advertising campaigns.I felt something wasn't right about the whole thing but still signed the contract and paid the fee. They also made a copy of my credit card (which triggered some discomfort).Leaving the appointment, on June ** 2013, I went straight to my bank, cancelled my credit card and sent the company a letter, within 12 hrs, cancelling the contract (I had 3 days to do it as per their contract). It's been 11 weeks now and I'm still fighting for this refund, they answer the phone but always have an excuse to explain why the refund hasn't been done. Lately all my emails to them bounce back (the email address doesn't exist anymore.Prior to going to the appointment, I did check the internet to see if this was a scam or something like that, there was nothing bogus out there, but my recent searches show that they seem to be a dishonest business.I'm now very concerned about the situation so turning to Revdex.com for helpDesired Settlement: Refund of the full paid fee of $850 either by cash or wire to my bank account

Review: I AM STUDIOS.ME is Creative egg project. I was recruited while shopping with a friend. I went to the studio and spoke with one of the talent recruiters which said I had to pay for headshots. I was reluctant to do so, but I agreed. He charged my debit card $100 and I signed a contract. The contract stated that I had Three business days to be entitled to my refund and if its certified. I signed the contract on October **, 2013 and sent the letter stating my refund the next day which arrived to thier office on October **, 2013. I called and Claudia one of the representatives said I will recieve my refund soon. I waited two weeks. Called back and one pf the management teams said it will take 3-5 week. So I waited. Called them after the ** week, and left a message. I havent recieved a call back. I called again but it goes straight to voicemail.Desired Settlement: Granted Refund

Review: This company is a scam. The company promised to get you jobs modeling for certain companies and they told me that I had to take head shots with their photographer. They gave me a "deal" and charged me $500 to take these head shots and send them out to companies. The day I was scheduled for the head shots they said the photo shoot was cancelled because a music video was going to be taking place at the location. At that point something did not seem right to me and I immediately asked for my money back. They told be that I would have to send a letter stating I wanted a refund. But after some long convincing they told be to stay, and that I would be featured in the video shoot. Well that was a lie, I waited around more than 6 hours to get my makeup done and by the end of they day I was not even featured in the video. All day long they continued to promise me that I would be in the video. They next day I sent out a letter stating I wanted a refund and after a few weeks that sent me an email stating I would be receiving a refund and that everything was their fault. But till this day (everything began in June) I have not received my refund and I continue to call them and they continue to tell me my refund is on its way. Recently I have been calling the company and nobody picks up at all.Desired Settlement: I would like for this company to refund the money I paid as they promised in their email to my mother's credit card.

At this time, I have not been contacted by Creative Egg Project regarding complaint ID [redacted]. Also letting you know that I put the wrong amount of $500 and it is suppose to be $450.

Sincerely,

Review: The company promised a photo shoot session with my daughter on Sunday, September [redacted], 2013, at 10:30am; but when we arrived at the location there was nothing set up for a photo shoot; nor did it look like a business facility and the person that was at the location had no knowledge of a scheduled photo shoot for this company.Desired Settlement: I need a written apology from the Director of the company as well as $100.00 in cash back.

Sincerely,

Review: I went to this business in late August of 2013 to which, I paid $495.00 by visa card. I signed a contract stating that if I should change my mind and request for a refund I had three business days to do so (by certified via mail and a printed letter requesting a refund). On the third business day I entered the studio with the certified mail. I was told that all would be taken care of and that the [redacted] would contact me as soon as possible. I was told that the process may take up to three months. Weeks went by I had received no such call. I called several times to only be transferred to more than one person and assured again a call. I did this continuously for 4 months. I was finally given a number to call a man named [redacted], who told me my situation was resolved ( this was the second week of October) . He told me that I'd receive a phone call as soon as everything was done. We are now in the year 2014 of February, I should have received my phone call and refund.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to finally receive my refund back on my visa debit card or in cash. So, as long as I am refunded my money and no longer have to deal with this company.
