the floral boutique was not as described by [redacted]. it was dying and dropping leaves upon delivery. the salutation was not as charged. no response at allI was charged 212.94 dollars for a large bouquet of roses that were specific in design with a upcharge for a personal card. the arrangement was atleast 1/3rd the size of the described arrangement, dead leaves were dropping off upon delivery. the 40 roses had been stuffed into a vase that was too small and the greenery included was all but crushed and poorly arranged. The flowers sent were fresh flowers that arrived to us the morning of the delivery. The greenery in the order was filled with the greenery described in the arrangement recipe provided by [redacted], the vase used was also identified in [redacted] recipe. We substituted the I Love You Card with an I Love You Mylar balloon which is the same price as we did not feel comfortable choosing a romance card not knowing how intimate or casual the relationship was. This was explained to the customer on the phone and he accepted that the substitution was reasonable. We did receive a message from [redacted] for redelivery and immediately called our [redacted] rep to get further information on the complaint. We had not heard from him and called the [redacted] Master Florist hotline and were waiting for clarification from them as to how to proceed. Because the order was not placed with us, we did not have any customer information and could not communicate with the customer directly to get clarification on the complaint. [redacted] does not share their customer information with us and the only recourse we had was to try and go through [redacted] in handling the complaint. As soon as we got this Revdex.com complaint, providing us with the customer contact information, we immediately called him and told him that we would redeliver the flower arrangement to the recipient when she returned to work. We could not refund his money as the payment was made to [redacted] and not to us directly, we had not been paid for the original arrangement. In the meantime, [redacted] sent the replacement order to another florist. The customer contacted us and told us he was not happy with the replacement flower arrangement (which was not sent from our shop). We verified with the customer that since [redacted] sent the original order to another flower shop to fill, our hands were tied regarding the second delivery that he was not happy with. We worked with the customer to find out exactly what type of rose arrangement he was originally looking for and after placing an order with us, our head designer personally designed and delivered a 3rd arrangement to the recipient and sent a picture of it to the customer/complaintant for approval. We stand behind our work and pride ourselves on our customer service, the only delay in our handling this issue was having to work with a 3rd party for resolution.
