I want to share that I have numerous purhases from them Each was handled promptly and correctly More importantly, the rare coins I have purchased exceed my expectations and compare as a better value against the other large coin vendors I just returned a large order (because I decided it was not consistent with my collection but the coin was great) and was promptly refunded Had me a bit nervous but this company has proven to be solid and sound I will continue to buy more from them

I have ordered several times in small quantitiesThey have always shipped within the quoted time whether credit card or check, and the product has always been exactly what was orderedPricing is comparable to others

I was also surprised at the number of complaints regarding deliveryI am wondering if some customers don't fully understand the processI have ordered from Provident many times and there may be a time delay for the processing of a check, etcbut I have always received the product ordered, it is always packaged well to protect the contents and am very pleased with their pricing and overall serviceAs a previous reviewer stated, who cares about a day or two in delivery; it doesn't change the value of the product as your price is locked in when you orderGood company

I have been a customer of Provident Metals for the last four years or so and have placed dozens of orders for precious metals with them I have never had a bad experience as a retail PM investor They have very competitive price structures, offer a discount for cash purchases, securely package and ship with a return address of Provident Metal Bearings to preclude any thefts while in transit I'm writing this review as I noted a scam complaint about them and wanted to offer my positive relationship with Provident I wonder if this was perpetrated by a competitor?

I have made around separate purchases with Provident Metals over the last three years I have made a wide variety of purchases from exotic metals, silver and gold To date I have had absolutely no issues what so ever, the products come well packaged and with almost zero mint marks and or other flaws, which are usually associated with some government issued Bullion I have been collecting coins for years, and have yet to find any other company that can match Provident Metals pricing, quality and shipping I will look forward to continue doing business with Provident Metals Satisfied from Virginia Beach, VA

I have conducted approximately 30-transactions through Provident Metals in the last three years and they have always shipped their products as promisedAs far as quality is concerned they always live up to expectations
Shipping on the other hand is a different matterI have paid with my CC and with personal checks at other times and they seem slow regardless of payment typeI am completely aware of the hold times on personal checks but when I pay by credit card on Monday and they have yet to ship the order on FRIDAY is when I begin to get dissapointed with the transactions
For the longest time they were also intentionally overcharging people for shippingI would order a single $coin and get slapped with $in shipping chargesThey now offer free shipping on orders more than $(strictly because Apmex started doing it)
Positives: Good quality, Usually the lowest priced bullion site
Negatives: Slow order processing, untrustworthy past shipping rates

I have ordered and received many orders from PM with very few issuesWhen there is a problem, they are responsive to help solve the issue.They deliver high quality at good cost

HmmmI am surprised there are any negative reviews of this company, but I guess you can't always please everyone; I am also kind of surprised that there are so few reviews since they have been around for quite a long time They seem ultra reliable me Ok, maybe there are times it take a fair number of days for clearing of funnds and delivery, but frankly, they do deliver and it really does not matter if I get my item in x days or x+days Their prices are far better than other firms Their products are packed properly They have a very good selection I did have a small problem with bulk / junk US coinage, but everything else was great And yesI have tested to some degree eveyrthing that I have purchased and nothing is suspicious Also, they don't play games with their inventory They have NEVER had to cancel something If only there were more such companies in the US

I ordered a coin from Provident metal on Sept which they told me would be received with days On September 9th I started asking what was going on as I had not received the coin They told me they would look into it no one called me backthree days later I contacted them again and they said it had been shipped which I told them I understood but it says its in OK and I live in calif and its been there for a weekwhat is going on with your shipping process Waited three more days and never back from them so I sent them a letter and said enough is enough never hear again from themover two weeks later I told the company who paid them to reverse payment which they did

I have made 7 separate purchases from Provident Metals in Dallas starting in 8/15/15 through the end of 12/31/15. All orders were 20 oz. or 40 oz. per order. Each transaction went smoothly. I was charged the correct amount. The item was shipped as fast as they say. Arrived a day or two after it shipped. Items were as described. I have asked them a couple of questions and both times they responded back within 24 hours. I do not usually write reviews until I have dealt with a company several times. I even placed an order on black Friday as I am sure many people did and they were closed for the 4 days over Thanksgiving and my order shipped Tuesday. That will always work for me. After reading the reviews and complaints on the Revdex.com site, I am please that they did resolve and come to solutions for the majority of the cases that could have been solved. This is the only company I have purchased silver from and until they decide they do not want my business, I will continue purchasing from them.

I have made 5 separate purchases for mixed bullion from provident metals over the last year. Very satisfied with price, interactions and delivery. I pay with personal check so it can take multiple weeks from order to receipt of product but I understand that is part of the process. I'm checking on some other businesses and thought I should let people know about good businesses I have dealt with. Hope this is helpful.
