Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below"I spoke with the business he stated that the customers came in and needed a document notarizedThe fee that a company may charge to notarize a document is $by lawHowever there is no limit to the price that a business can charge to create a document, and this business charged $to create the document." Prior to going to the Business office we called to get information and set an appointmentWe did NOT ask the Business to create a document, we wanted an Affidavit notarizationThe notary told us, that he HAS TO write the document and the price will be $We weren't informed that the price of $includes two separate servicesWe weren't knowledgeable about the price range nether the procedure by lawHowever, we were prepared and we did our "homework": the day before the appointment I sent [redacted] email containing the affiant data and our (my and my husband's) full namesI wrote the text that the affiant should signThis text also was containing my full name, spelled correctlyBased on my text the notary created the Affidavit using a template that he usually uses in his workI just want to point, that if we have the opportunity to bring completely written by us document for notarization, this error would not happenBut we paid to the Business for full service including Affidavit creation, we trusted the Business as a professional and we expected them to do their job at professional level "Once the document was created the customer’s husband and mother took it with themThat would have been the time to look it over and make sure the name was correct, as mistakes do happen." My husband and his mother checked their personal data before to signI wasn't there and I didn't sign the document, so I couldn't check my personal data at the momentI hold [redacted] responsible for the spelling error, as he created the document with my ID in his hands ( [redacted] requested my husband to bring him my ID) We expected professional service from the Business as we paid for a full service: document creation and document notarizationAs we are humans, errors happen, but they are BUSINESS, they should be PROFESSIONALS, and their errors may lead to harmful situations "After that the customer called and had a problem with the document and had another business notarize another copy." My husband called the Business around 11am Monday morning when he arrived in Richmond, VA [redacted] himself picked up the phoneMy husband explained to him the problem with the document, we needed the corrected document to be re-signed and notarized again [redacted] told my husband that HE WILL CALL HIM BACK, BUT HE NEVER DIDAfter a few hours without a call, my husband was left with the impression that [redacted] was not interested in resolving the problemSo he went to another Notary to get the document notarizedWe could not wait around all day to get this done because of the amount of time needed to drive back to northern VA and the fact that we wanted to have this document in the mail the next dayWe were not trying to take advantage of the Business, at that time this problem could have been resolved easily if he just called us back to notarize the corrected document "The business asked to see a copy of the document, and it is word for word as the document he drafted for the customer" I personally re-wrote word by word the document that the Business createdI wrote my name correctly, printed out the document and carefully checked it outOur intention was to notarize the same document again with the BusinessBecause the Business did not honor our request, we went to another Notary We still want a full refund of that we paid to this BusinessWe did NOT receive the service that we ordered as the final product was uselessConsequence of [redacted] error in "creation" of the document, we had to re-sign itThe business did not make any effort to resolve the problemConsequence of [redacted] no response to our request for re-signing we had to go to another NotaryWe do not received quality service from this Business and we think that we weren't treated as valuable customers Regards, [redacted]

I spoke with the business he stated that the customers came in and needed a document notarizedThe fee that a company may charge to notarize a document is $by lawHowever there is no limit to the price that a business can charge to create a document, and this business charged $to create the documentOnce the document was created the customer’s husband and mother took it with themThat would have been the time to look it over and make sure the name was correct, as mistakes do happenAfter that the customer called and had a problem with the document and had another business notarize another copyThe customer wants to full refund of the price she spent to have the document notarizedThe business asked to see a copy of the document, and it is word for word as the document he drafted for the customer, so he feels that this customer is trying to take advantage of his work and then to get a refund by using his draft and having it notarized by a different company
